Great customer service and vehicle was clean and in good condition.

We rented a Deluxe 6-berth motorhome with full insurance for our 2.500 km trip around Western Australia with 4 adults.

We were impressed by the state of the van. With just 24.000 km on the counter, it felt almost brand new compatred to other van we rented when we were a bit (much) younger. Everything was clean, the van was supplied with everything as promised.

We mostly stopped at caravan parks and camping grounds with powered sites, so were plugged into electricity and water source almost every night.

We never used the shower nor the toilet for the same reason and used the bathroom for extra storage space for our luggage.

We felt there was a good amount of storage space anyway, but we had a lot of fishing gear with us so the extra space was welcome.

The first time we emptied the grey water, we noticed a leak from the grey water tank. Upon sending an email the customer service, we got a quick reply with clear instructions on how to resolve what was probably a blocked hose. It was an easy fix.

On the very last night, we camped at a site without power for the first time.

Although the 12V battery showed it was 80% full, we lost power within an hour. Fridge, microwave and lights stopped working. Though it did give us an opportunity to admire the Milky Way even better, we didn't think that this was supposed to happen. Luckily the van came with a gas cooking top and oven so dinner was no problem.

As we were in a spot without network coverage and we were going to drop off the van the next day anyway, we didn't bother to call it in to have it fixed.

If we would have run into this battery problem sooner, it might have been an issue but it wasn't a big problem for us at this stage and we are confident that they would have resolved it satisfactorily if we would have reported it.

We were warned by a friend that the awning was easy to break, and as it was explicitly excluded from the insurance, we did not pull it out at all. Nor did we ever use the TV nor the AC, so no complaints nor positive reviews to give.

The motorhome was super easy to drive and equipped with a good navigation system.

We had a wonderful road trip with this motorhome.

We had a great time with out vehicle. the pick-up and drop-off was very easy and the staff was always super friendly. Would book with them again.

All in all we are very content with the campervan, that got us through our trip safely. As the van has limited space, some areas could be used more efficiently to create more space. I also personally think that the campervan should only be intented for 2 people, as the bigger bags or suitcases take up more space as well.

Also the table in this model seemed rather rusty, so we were not able to use it at all and as we could not store it, it was in the way most of the time.

Overall our experience wasn’t too bad with a Go Cheap van. The hose fitting was too big for the taps at every caravan park we stayed at. The hose also had a hole in it. The indoor table base was barely screwed/bolted into the floor.
Other than that, the van drove well, easy to park and we had no issues during the 10 days we hired it for.

Hired a go cheap 2 birth for a period of time. Van drove well with no issues. Only downsides were one of the handles on the cupboards was dodgy which made it hard to open, and the engine warning light was on, but we were reassured this was just a sensor issue. Overall, the van went well and would recommend this service to anyone.

We just finished a 10-day trip in one of their campervans and had an amazing experience. The camper was perfect – clean, comfortable, and easy to drive, with everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely hire from them again.
