Trying to Understand the Cryptonomy → Nomy Transition

I was an investor on the Cryptonomy platform and followed developments there over an extended period.

From the user interface perspective, several changes became noticeable during the later stages of the project that many investors are still trying to understand.

Toward the end of 2024, withdrawals gradually became restricted within the platform interface. Around the same time, communications began referencing portfolio exit options and a mechanism described as a Portfolio Marketplace.

A marketplace execution event later took place on 30 January 2026. From the interface visible to users at that time, the portfolio balances previously displayed in the Cryptonomy account environment were no longer shown in the same way after that event.

For a short period following this change, users could not view their holdings through the normal Cryptonomy interface.

A few days later, balances appeared in another platform environment associated with Nomy, where they were represented as NOMY tokens.

At that stage, liquidity for those tokens was described as a future phase of the ecosystem, meaning that users were not yet able to freely convert or withdraw those balances.

These observations are based on the platform interface and communications available to users during that period.

From the perspective of investors who experienced these changes through the platform interface, the full sequence of events remains difficult to fully understand.

Many users are now simply watching to see whether the token ecosystem eventually provides real liquidity for those balances.

Cowards and thieves

Cryptonomy has finally gone completely out of reach. I have installed my 3rd VPN and I can only reach my portfolio that they locked up against my will and stole from me one time before I am no longer allowed access. The last time I had access I was able to submit my wallet address, but my tokens never returned on the date of the distribution. Nor did I receive the voucher that their support claims will be necessary to redeem my tokens. Nomy finance is a scam. And the people running it are cowards and thieves.

I didn’t get tricked by the portfolio…

I didn’t get tricked by the portfolio sale but when my assets were transferred to Nomy they cancelled all of my contracts. Now at Nomy they have been locked away for 3 months. No doubt I will get the same run around as I had in Cryptonomy. Nearly 24 months where I haven’t been able to withdraw and all contracts left in perpetual lockdown.

Portfolio Sell Was a Scam!

I received the email from Cryptonomy ( Nomy Finance). They decided to pay me back in Nomy coin, which has no value. I'm demanding the return of my original assets, valued at 2000 USD. I will report you to the police fraud department. Nomy Finance is run by organized scammers. Do not ever trust them, nor invest in Nomy Finance.

Not good experience with Cryptonomy.

I invested my money in Cryptonomics. My contract period is over, but they are not withdrawing my funds, nor are they responding properly. Cryptonomics, what are you saying? When will you release the funds? There is something wrong with your intentions.

Scam

Don't think cryptonomy had any intention of honoring the 12 month contracts I'd taken out on their staking platform. 7 out of 9 contracts are now well past maturity n they haven't honored any of them. They are suppose to be merging with omny which is probably just as toxic. Save yourselves the hassle, so far they've only proven to me they are professional thieves. I can only hope I can write my losses off in tax!

The system becomes quite controlling after your money is in. You are unable to take reasonable measures to protect your funds because of the timing rules. #Coventry# #Securities# CovSec. unpopular in social media. powerful in delivery. I joined in silence, and more than anything, I've been amazed by the consistency.

🚨REPORT NOMYFI.COM TO FINANCIAL AUTHORITIES🚨

Report Nomyfi.com to your local financial conduct authority.

It's Easy To Do: Template Below.

Use your Cryptonomy ai rep name and email address for Nomyfi.com contact details.

Template:

Nomyfi.com is an unregistered financial services platform operated by Cryptonomy Finance LTD (UK Company Number: 15307665). This entity appears to be part of a sophisticated scheme designed to defraud digital asset investors. Following a history of fraudulent activity on their original domain, Cryptonomy.fi—which was the subject of numerous warnings from global financial regulators—the company has rebranded as Nomyfi.com.
In an apparent attempt to fabricate legitimacy, Cryptonomy Finance LTD has sought to link itself to a dissolved UK technology firm, Nomy LTD. This rebranding is supported by deceptive advertising campaigns intended to distance the operators from their previous regulatory infractions while continuing to operate without legal oversight.

My assets have been frozen on the Cryptonomy.fi platform without cause or legal justification since (date).

In 2025, Cryptonomy Finance LTD notified investors that Cryptonomy.fi would be dissolved and all assets would be migrated to the new, unregulated Nomyfi.com platform.

After investors protested the forced migration, the company offered an alternative: a "discounted" sale of our portfolios.

I, along with many other investors, entered into this sale agreement in good faith, under the reasonable expectation that the proceeds would be made available for immediate withdrawal. However, nearing the liquidation of our portfolios, we were informed that the proceeds would still be transferred to the Nomyfi.com platform rather than being returned to the investors.

The refusal to provide a direct exit path and the forced migration to an unregulated "shell" platform are clear indicators of a "bait-and-switch" scheme. I believe these actions are a calculated effort to permanently obfuscate investor funds and evade regulatory accountability.

Total scam with clever replies

Total scam with clever replies. Nomy being the rebrand, I would not dare put another cent into either platform. Contract expired in June of 2025 and we are almost in 2026 and I still can’t get access to my funds. No way in the world my contract should still be listed as active. Their replies are total nonsense. Do not listen to. Everything is good until it’s time to retrieve your funds. Then in my case, 6 months later it’s still listed as active lol

Scammers

My Launch Pool has gone 7 months past the payout date with no returns given. They only change the value on the screen after I point it out. There is not interest being earned on the investment. Just numbers on the screen. I wish cancer upon these people. They deserve it.

What a miserable experience trying to…

What a miserable experience trying to get your hard earned crypto back from these people. December 18th today was supposed to be the day that I had my Portfolio Marketplace auction take place but it never happened. I've been on the site since 7am this morning and it's now 12:09am and absolutely nothing has happened. Still don't have my 13.9k. I'm injured not working and have bills and Christmas coming and absolutely no money. Thanks for ruining my life and my retirement. Oh and thanka for trying to change my phone number on my Google account. 45min after I contacted customer support where I put my name and phone number on there I get a call from Google asking me if I attempted to change my phone number and I said no. Check my Google account and sure enough there's a new device that logged into my Google account so I had to spend a few hours changing everything. Thanks a lot. I sure hope and pray that everyone involved that scammed people out of there hard earned crypto gets a FAFO Carma and I hope it's extremely brutal
