Looking at 105 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed dissatisfaction with the service, citing frequent machine breakdowns, slow repair times, and difficulties in getting issues resolved. They also reported problems with the products themselves, noting that machines often rip clothes, leave them smelling musty, or fail to clean or dry them properly. Reviewers also consistently highlighted issues with payment systems, including machines taking money without starting cycles, double-charging, and unexpected price increases. The quality of the machines was frequently criticized, with many described as old, rusting, and poorly maintained. Furthermore, consumers felt the prices were unreasonable, especially given the poor quality and unreliable service.

Zero stars was not an option

I used a CSC air machine at Walmart in Tiffin, Ohio, and was double-charged on my credit card. Called Customer Service and was greeted with a snotty, bitchy, and confrontational operator. No effort on her part to resolve the issue -- just a bunch of demands for my credit card statement, etc. Avoid this company like the plague.

This company is complete garbage

This company is complete garbage, they don’t repair machines when broken, it’s like pulling teeth with tweezers trying to get a $1.50 refund when the crap machines steel your money or just don’t work. I’ve put several repair tickets in on their constantly broken machines, and when a technician comes to repair they find nothing wrong. Well instead of sitting in your damn truck in the parking lot for 30 mins before even getting out to investigate and leave 5 minutes later without doing anything saying everything is fine, get off your damn phone and do your job and fix something! Stay away from CSC service, one of the worst laundry company’s I’ve ever had to deal with. You’d be better off washing your clothes is a big pot by hand, and hanging them Out to dry then trusting putting your clothes in CSC machines. If they don’t ruin your clothes, they steel
Your money!

CSC Serviceworks JJ’s provides Overpriced, Unreliable, and Unacceptable

CSC Serviceworks JJ’s provides a deplorable laundry experience. The washing machines are frequently broken, and those that do operate are barely functional due to worn-out tub bearings. Additionally, a new 25-cent convenience fee is charged for not using their app, which I stopped using months ago due to consistent issues. The app repeatedly overcharged me, withdrawing more money than the machine fees.
While the app allows refund requests, the company rarely responds. Worse, you can only submit one refund request at a time, leaving multiple refunds stuck in processing for extended periods and outright denied. This feels like a scam. In just 6 months, they’ve taken $30–$40 from me, a few dollars at a time.
To top it off, prices increased in June 2025 from $2.75 to $4.25 for washing and $2.25 to $4.25 for drying. I refuse to pay $8.50 to clean my clothes in outdated machines that only run a 14-minute cycle. This service is unacceptable.

DO NOT USE!!!

I live in an apartment complex that uses CSC. We have 5 washers and 6 dryers. Less than half of the machines work. I have placed NO NOT USE signs on the ones that don't work. They come in and remove the DO NOT USE signs without repairing their broken equipment. Several broken machines go 6 months or longer without being repaired, signs being removed, and people spending money on a machine that does not wash or dry. They can not run a business and use fraud to steal from consumers.

Don't Get Tangled Up With This Non Responsive Company

bought a home in July of 2021 and inherited a laundry service contract with CSC Serviceworks. I soon found that the machines were not working properly and quickly contacted the company. I navigated the process to put in a service request with some patience and anticipation to get the washer and dry back to working order. The service included an app that would have been very convenient if it worked along with the machines. Unfortunately, it did not and I included that in my very first service request along with clothes in the washing machine coming out soaked in extra water and not wrung out properly. The dryer seemed to work but required at least 6 quarters to dry a small amount of clothes.
The workman came after sometime and said it was fixed but my tenants and I would many times have to hang clothes out to dry after going through the washing cycle. One because the clothes came out dripping wet and two because the dry was not working properly. This became a regular issue and my tenants and i made multitudes of repair requests. Service men would come after sometime and say it was fixed but it became so unreliable my tenants started taking laundry out and complaining to me the landlord for the inconvenience. It was so bad I requested to discontinue the service and even paid a hefty penalty of withdraw. When CSC received my withdraw request they emailed that someone would contact me to pick up the machines. That was in early March. It is now early July. A scheduled pick up was made and i waited the entire day for the pick up with no calls to the otherwise. My entire experience wit CSC Serviceworks has been unprofessional and lacking concern for basic customer care. To this date more than 3 month after requesting the machines be picked up they are still in my home. I want to warn anyone doing business with Serviceworks to beware and do not enter a service contract with them. They have been very unresponsive and unconcerned for the entire 4 year period I experienced working with them.

Tried to purchase a card from vending no card kept the $10 called at least 5 times to get someone in another country telling le they would send out card never happen. Most of the tenants will rather walk to near by laudrymat or hand wash garments.

The worst machines ever!!

The worst machines ever!!! No hot water only cold. One machine doesn’t even fill up all the way. For $3 why are we paying for crappy machines?! You’ve got to buy a gift card just to use it. No one with good sense would allow them to have your personal information! Awful machines! Ripoff!

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. The machines don’t work half the time. Constantly need to be repaired. And the cost per load increases every quarter. I’d rather pay more at a nearby laundromat than play laundry roulette with these machines.

Terrible service, Terrible response times

Terrible service. We have them service some of our properties and they have been absolutely horrendous. I would highly recommend staying far far away. Nearly impossible to get someone to respond to service requests, impossible to get them to change a mailing address, etc.

Terrible

Never, ever, ever use this app. It is a scam and a rip off. Not to mention customer service reps are rude, impatient, and stupid. I loaded $10 on the app, but when I went to activate the washer, my card was charged again. When I tried to request a refund for the money on the app, it said I would have to use their service at least once before I could get a refund. I had already used it twice and both times it charged my card again instead of taking the money off the app. I tried to call for help and I was told to delete my card from the account and it wouldn't be charged again and I could use the money from the app. We'll, surprise, surprise. It won't let me delete my card. Do yourself a favor and just get a roll of quarters. Whoever runs this company is a con-artist and deserves to be in jail.

CSC is a unreliable, disorganized mess. DO NOT USE THEM.

As a tenant in a building with CSC machines, it's been a total nightmare. Our machines break all the time. We put in maintenance requests and never hear anything back. I just got off the phone with the CSC hotline where the representative told me the ticket I put in TWELVE DAYS AGO about a machine full of water displaying the "out of order" message hasn't even been seen by or assigned to a technician yet!! The app is a confusing to navigate and often doesn't even start the machines, instead displaying a "cannot connect to machine, please try again later" message. When speaking to a representative on the phone I asked to speak with a manager. The representative transferred me, the phone rang for about 60 seconds, and then was disconnected with no option to leave a voicemail.

If you're considering contracting with CSC for your building PLEASE CHOOSE ANY OTHER COMPANY. Don't put your tenants through this nightmare!

A Company That Can't Be Trusted

The company jacked up the prices for the use of its laundry machines in our building multiple times without giving us prior warning. And when pressed by our building's management to reverse these price hikes, the company agreed but then became conveniently impossible to reach when it failed to follow through with the promised reductions.

I'm only giving 1 star because I can't…

I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give NO stars. We've had an ongoing contract with this company since 1998 and up till last year had a good experience with service calls and response to our request to NOT raise the cost. Last year they refused to lower the cost after raising it without any notice (have always received notice previously). On April 28, 2025 I reported a broken machine (had standing water). I received acknowledgment that a technician would be here within 2-3 days. Today is June 1 and no one has come to repair or replace the machine. The standing water and silt are damaging the machine's interior. I've called 3 times to report the nonresponse. I was even issued an escalation confirmation, which was then rescinded a few days later because "a technician is aware of the problem." On May 28 I discovered they no longer had record of my claim/ticket/request for service, so I put in another request (which was acknowledged with the usual email).

I would give this crap company a ZERO…

I would give this crap company a ZERO if I could! They still owe me $5 from months ago and refuse to refund me, even though I have requested this many times.

Half of their machines don't work. They take your money and either never start or stop in the middle of the cycle and stay locked and you have to climb on top of the machine to unplug it so the door will open. And mind you, we are old folks here so that is really dangerous and I see a lawsuit in CSC's future.

Actually our company is going to sue them for nonfulfilment of their contract. Half of the time their app doesn't work or the app doesn't see the machine we are trying to start. So most of us use the old school coins to start the machines.

Now, however, this crap company has gone to an ALL-APP thing without telling our building management. And, of course, the app STILL DOESN'T WORK HALF THE TIME but, unfortunately, now we don't have the coin option.

Yesterday, for example, I went to wash my clothes. First, the app wouldn't load, then when it finally loaded, it didn't see the machine I had filled with my laundry. So I was forced to take the huge load of laundry out of one washer and transfer it to another. Which, after multiple tries, FINALLY CONNECTED WITH THE WASHER I WAS TRYING TO START.

However, when it came time to dry the clothes, all I got was a "system error" when I tried to start a machine. Over and over again, even after restarting my phone OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

I was forced to drag all the wet clothes upstairs and try to hang them all dry in my studio apartment.

Thanks CSC. You suck donkey b@lls.

This app Keeps Taking My Money

This app has been double charging me for the last 6 months and still doesn’t work properly. Sometimes it takes my money and doesn’t start at all, or it stops halfway. I’ve reported it multiple times but nothing has been fixed. Really frustrating and unacceptable

They SUCK!

They SUCK!

First they promise to send a laundry card and a refund, but never do. After 100s of email exchanges, they keep you in the loop and do not help. Now their recharge machine has started eating up the money! And they will drag you through the same sloppy process and never return you money!

I wish I could let give less than one…

I wish I could let give less than one star. If you're going into business or you have a business and you're thinking of using this company for your laundry services, I would not do that.. They do not respond to service calls. They do not come and pick up the money. They don't do what they're supposed to do, and then the supervisor will absolutely refuse to get on the phone with you.
