Curry’s aftercare nonexistent

Purchased a kenwood fridge freezer in July 2025, broke down in Dec 2025, a contractor was sent by curry’s who concluded that the compressor was broke and it was not worth replacing, so a notice from curry’s said it was written off and needed to be replaced, so picked out becko which cost another £170, it was delivered on the 15th JAN 2026, after they left I noticed that it was leaning backwards by a couple of inches, so after contacting curry’s again they said the would send contract engineer’s out on Sunday the 17th to right it,So I’m fast asleep when the phone started ringing at just gone 6.30 in the morning with someone who sounded more tired than me saying they would be there at 7.00 am, so I had to scramble out of bed to do the usual and put the dog out, they arrived spot on 7.00, I had to roll the carpet back and rearrange some furniture, they arrived the first one to come in sounded like he had just woke up from a coma after ten years and decided he wanted to talk about my military collection hanging on the walls of my living room,l was not happy as you could imagine, and guided him into the kitchen where the fridge freezer was, then the other so called engineer came through, his shoes were caked in dried mud, after a lot head scratching they concluded that it could not be adjusted, I think that they were previously engineers on Tonka toys ffs, I’m 80 years old and I’ve given up with Curry’s. They’ve got your money and you by the short & curly’s. AVOID AND BE HAPPY.

I checked a TV on Wednesday priced at £599. When I returned on Friday to buy it, the price had jumped to £699 overnight.
When I asked why, the staff member was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional instead of giving a proper explanation. A £100 increase in one day and this level of customer service is unacceptable.
I won’t be shopping at Currys again

Extremely disappointed with the service…

Extremely disappointed with the service on my washing machine insurance. Currys has sent engineers out three separate times, yet the issue remains unresolved. Each visit has brought a different explanation, leaving me with no clarity and no confidence in the process. The inconsistency in assessments and the lack of a decisive fix have made the whole experience frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming. I expected a smooth, professional resolution, but instead I’ve had delays, mixed messages, and no progress. I’m hoping for immediate action and a more customer-focused approach going forward.

Abbey at the Chester store was superb!

Excellent service from Abbey at the Chester store today when we went in looking to try the new Meta Ray Ban glasses for my wife. The Meta display was set up but we were too early for the Meta people to be there but no worries because Abbey kindly let us try her Meta glasses and they were brilliant for my partially sited wife. We have now purchased a pair online from Curry’s (as when we checked they were out of stock at the Chester store) we couldn’t purchase them there and then as we wanted to make sure they were suitable before I cashed in some work vouchers to buy them with. Again brilliant service from Abbey and she put my faith back in Curry’s staff :-)

Order cancelled, but don’t bother telling the customer

Ordered a click and collect item from Currys online. Said it would be ready in 2 days. After checking emails for 5 days and no updates, I rang to see where my item was, only to be told they had cancelled the order the day after I placed it as they couldn’t fulfill the order. That would have been fine, but no one bothered to send me a message. Shocking service, avoid at all costs

Price Match Promise a Lie

Had no intention of honouring it.

Excuse given by second assistant who intervened after the first one said they would match it - we reserve the right not to.

Just got to wait for overnight delivery to save myself £50.

Feels like its a con.

Still haven't picked up the incorrect item they sent

So its now 10 days since currys sent the incorrect item to me and they have still not picked it up or sent me the correct item as apparently they will need the item back before refunding. However they dont seem bothered by this. I have called multiple times and promised it will be 2 days each time for a pick up and spoken to trust pilot review team also and have got no where. The customer service is shocking, no customer empathy, no ownership and no morals. Stear clear

I had been assured that you would be able to meet my needs?

On the 13th July I purchase a laptop computer from your Warrington Branch, my requirements for the computer where as follows, I just needed a basic computer for using Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, also to include Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player. As I’m in the process of compiling videos and photos from past years of my Family.
Now that I have come to start updating the videos and photos, I have found that the computer has not got Windows Movie Maker on and I was assured by the sales assistant that it had? I know that it has been a couple of months since purchasing the laptop computer but it is not suitable for my needs.
I purchased the computer from your company as I had been assured that you would be able to meet my needs? I look forward to hearing from you and hope we can come to sort of agreement to sort this matter out and fix me up with a laptop computer that has my requirement’s, (I just needed a basic computer for using Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, also to include Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player.)

Shocking website Curry’s and creation…

Shocking website Curry’s and creation finance site is terrible. Each time I go on the sites with saved passwords from my phone they keep saying wrong password. I have even set up Face ID for the two sites, in general if I want to purchase any item I’m looking at spend 1-2 hrs just getting everything ordered and for pickup. What a shambles. I have even written passwords down copies of them and make sure I’m using the right passwords but to no avail what a shocking and rubbish websites.

Don’t buy online

My item failed to be delivered after 2 days despite having paid for one hour next day slot. They have agreed a refund but only when DPD get item back to them. So payment taken, item not received and refund taking up to 14 days. Appalling service. Never again. My advice if you want to buy from Curry’s buy in store not online

Poor customer treatment

Very Poor Service from their online department.
Faulty TV returned for exchange and agreed a different make of TV. Curry's sent same TV twice.
Called in to store and they would not accept online products for return/refund so advised a return for refund and buy direct from store another tv.
I purchased new TV from store.
I then find that online returns gives option to return to any store as quickest option!!
Now....Online Return for refund takes up to 5 days for collection request + up to 14 more days to process the refund.
Generally very poor treatment for customers and so deserved my note of disapproval.
I have spent some £000's with Curry's over my lifetime, but after this experience I'll be giving their online shopping experience a miss!

Aftersales Service at Curry's

Years ago, Curry's had a good after-sales service. If you needed to take an appliance back with a fault, they would have a look at it in the store, and five times out of ten, they would fix it. But things are much different now, as they no longer bench test anything. I took my digital DVD/HDD recorder back because the remote control needed reprogramming. I was told it would need to be sent back to Panasonic, and it would only be a few days. After a week, I tried to phone them, but you get passed from one AI to another AI. But I eventually got to talk to a Curry's operative in Africa, who said I will get them to send you an update on the repair within 24 hours. Now, another four days have passed, and no update as yet. So I rang up again and got someone else in Africa who told me I would have to go to the White City Curry's and ask them. They did phone the repair centre and enquire for me, and yes, he said it was fixed, but it might be another week to get it back to the shop. What a performance for a simple fault.

Tried to buy a dual fuel range cooker

Tried to buy a dual fuel range cooker. The worst customer service I have ever received - Errors made - promises not fulfilled- Multiple calls made and nobody wanted to help correct the errors. Call backs from managers arranged, but never made… Delivery and installation of the cooker paid for and promised within 5 days, but not delivered on - was eventually told after making multiple lengthy calls it would not take 5 days but 1 month! Never use this awful company (unless you want cold buffet food for a month!) They don’t care about their customers - they don’t even have a complaint email address facility - I also emailed the CEO and got no reply. Shame on you Currys - disgraceful…

FACEBOOK, Curry sale, 90% off…

Just received an add for all types of electrical goods at 90% off, supposedly from Currys but it's from Equiniti ltd , says it's a "Halloween surprise sale"
I've tried hard to research this but seems to be to new for any bad reports, however, if it seems to good to be true then it is, can a 88inch TV be £40, of course not.
Now read there terms and conditions, theyve covered everything, the right to cancel, to ban you , to change prices, it goes on and on, STAY AWAY, ITS A SCAM
