I cannot speak highly enough of Cyfarthfa Dental Care. As an extremely nervous patient, a dental appointment is always a bit of an ordeal for both me and whichever poor soul ends up having to treat me.
Yesterday I had 2 white fillings done (one new filling and one to replace an existing one that had cracked) and Dr Mathias and his assistant (I believe her name was Kayleigh, but I’m so sorry if I’ve got that wrong) took excellent care of me throughout the hour long appointment. Both were extremely kind, patient and marvellous at their jobs, always checking in with me, explaining everything that they were doing as they went.
While I had been absolutely dreading this appointment for weeks, they ensured it was the most comfortable procedure I’ve had at any previous dentist appointment at my old practice.
An extra shout out to the receptionist who had to put up with a drugged up & dribbling me trying to pay and completely blanking on my PIN number 😂 (Sorry about that)

My son had an appointment today. He needs a tartar removal, which won't go away without help. But the professional said he will only do it (6 months later) if my son brushes his teeth twice a day. So I said, "This is like a punishment." Answer: "Yes".

I have been visiting assorted dentists for more than 50 years and I can honestly say that the 5 weeks of treatment, I finished today, were about the best I’ve ever received. Maddy and her nurse were excellent, nothing was done in a rush and everything was explained to me in a really clear way. No one will ever say ‘Yippee I’m going to the dentists tomorrow!’ but a visit to Cyfartha Dental Care is probably as good as it gets.

My 2 children have been going to Cyfartha Dental care for afew years now and their dentist Josh is absolutely amazing with them both. After having a fear of the dentist for awhile I plucked up the courage to go this year and my experience has been great Josh put me at ease every appointment and couldn't be any happier with my smile. Me and my children are gutted to see him leave Merthyr dentist but we know we'll still be in good hands. Oh my goodness, Paul and Elinor were amazing! I was extremely anxious prior to dental treatment, Paul explained everything to me, answered all of my questions and both he and Elinor took great care of me throughout the process. I can 100% recommend for any dental treatment required. Thank you.

I've been a patient for a few years with Cyfarthfa Dental now. They're absolutely fantastic. I used to have a phobia of going from previous experiences with another practice but everyone in there is so friendly and put you at ease. I can't fault them.

The best dental practice in the area. I have been with the practice since they opened. I’ve always been a nervous patient, however since being with Cyfarthfa Dental Care this is no longer an issue. Rhys and the staff make you feel comfortable and reassured as soon as you walk through their doors. I highly recommend the practice to everyone.

I have been with this practice since it opened, now under Pauls care myself and children all receive first class treatment from all at the practice. Reception staff and dental nurses are always friendly and welcoming.

I found the staff very helpful & courteous. They are well informed about the concept of dental problems and are always ready to help. My dentist Paul is an excellent surgeon & give an advise at every step of you need. My husband and myself are very grateful for their services.
