I had the misfortune of having a PC with a few minor faults, annoying but not serious. I asked restoro to help (I KNOW NOW) & I ended up with a PC with BSOD & they charged £100 to do it. 1/5 is generous AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I had the misfortune to deal with Restoro a month ago and posted a 1 star review see below. The software is CRAP with a 12 foot high capital C. After a fight, they did refund my money and promised that NO more money would be taken. I promptly switched to Norton 360 and that has been fine. About 30 minutes ago, I see Restoro have taken money from my Barclays debit card AGAIN after confirming last month I would NOT be charged again. These people are just SCUM BAGS. They are either downright thieves OR totally inept and incompetent. I can't think of a better word that describes them more aptly than SCUM BAGS. Stay WELL AWAY you are guaranteed to lose money - the software does not work and they will take money AFTER you close the account. Do not not trust them go to Norton or another provider. If I don't see a refund in my account within 48 hours I will take legal action. There is a principle here and if it costs me 10 times the cost of the debit from my account to get this back - I will pay it - have to make a stand against thieving scum like this

I can only endorse what others have written. Their software was recommended on a website which dealt with Windows 10 issues. I thought I would just be able to download the software and install it and use it, but no - to activate it I had to ring a number which didn't answer for ages and there was a load of sales spiel which went in a loop while waiting, then someone answered who said she would have to transfer me to someone else, who also had to transfer me to someone by which time I was getting really irritated and was quite abrupt with the woman who answered. Then a lot of time while she checked things on my PC and eventually tried to sell me a subscription to a technical service - I didn't see the price. By that time I'd had enough and my belief in her technical abilities had shrunk dramatically when she started windows update and thought she could stop it. So I called it a day. I'm running windows update again now but have no faith at all that the software will have helped in the slightest. Steer well clear.

it didnt do anything. could be a virus, not sure, but it doesnt matter because it didnt do anything, so theres no point in even trying it.
