Fraud, Harassment & 25 Days No Resolution — TRIDEV Sales & Services (Daikin Authorized)

Worst experience of my life with Daikin's authorized service partner TRIDEV Sales & Services, Rajiv Nagar Gurgaon (Service Order No. TSS 4637).
Visit 1: Technician came, collected ₹590, did nothing. AC was still not working when he left — and this is written on their OWN official Daikin Service Completion Certificate. Money taken, zero work done.
Visit 2: Second technician filled gas, then spent 1 hour and declared EV switch is faulty — demanded ₹5,000 more. When I asked for even 1 day warranty on the repair, he REFUSED. This means either duplicate parts or pure fraud. I confirmed the repair by phone within the hour. He never came back.
Customer Support: Called multiple times.
— "Part not available" — 10 days gone
— "Will resolve in 3 days" — nothing happened
— Then they gave random numbers. One never picked up. The other said "your address is not my area" and disconnected.
Finally received an email saying ticket CANCELLED — reason: "Job closed by third party" — without my knowledge, without my consent, without any repair done. 25+ days, ₹590 taken, AC still dead.

Never buy a Daikin AC

This is for Daikin India, but looks like applies well in NA as well.
Never buy a Daikin AC. They are a blot on the face of the expectations that we place on a Japanese company. We required 4 ACs for our new house. And because we didn't want to put all our eggs in one basket, we ended up buying 2 Voltas (2 tons each) and 2 Daikin (1.5 tons each). And oh boy, did we make a mistake! The Daikin ACs stopped cooling within a few days. The company people came in and said its a gas leakage problem, which was mitigated by filling up gas. Few hours of operation and the ACs stopped cooling (and heating) again. This time the people came in and said there has been an issue with installation, and blamed the long copper pipes that we refused to buy from Daikin. That meant an additional Rs 30,000 out of pocket to fix it, which Daikin will not cover. And this is in addition to faux ceiling repairs which would have to be broken into in order to gain access to the pipes. The customer support in the meanwhile has been playing ping pong with us by going on transferring our concern from one department to another.
All the installation work was done by authorized people from official service centres. My question is, we used the same pipes for 2 other Voltas ACs and they work excellent. How come both the Daikin ACs failed? Is it really some pipe related problem? Is it done on purpose?
An absolutely disgusting company and the worst after sales service. No wonder they receive all these negative reviews all the time. They absolutely deserve it. If you want to save yourself trouble after buying an AC, DO NOT buy Daikin.

Poor Installation Judgment & No Accountability by Daikin

I recently got a Daikin AC installed at my home. The house already had AC piping in place. When the technician came, he had two choices – either use the existing piping or install a new one. The decision was left to him, and he chose to go with the existing one.

Soon after installation, the AC stopped cooling. It turned out there was a gas leak due to an issue in the piping. When I contacted Daikin customer support, their response was shocking.

They refused to help, saying it’s not their responsibility since the piping wasn’t installed by them. On top of that, when I asked for support, they simply said I should “raise it with higher authorities” as they can’t push the service provider or the technician. After that, they hung up on me.

This is not what you'd expect from a company like Daikin – no ownership, no accountability, and customer support that only passes the buck.

Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend Daikin to anyone expecting responsible service.

OVERALLLLLLLL PATHETIC COMPANY!

Everything Everything is bad about this company,
Firstly, I have been having issues with my AC ever since I bought it. I keep having to manage it.
Lately, I tried to book a service with their customer service team. Spoke to a senior and asked him to change the service centre to a non-sales based and only service based service centre. His name was Sharad and he promised me he would do that.
Inspite of that, I kept getting harassing calls from the service centre TRIDEV Sales and service, again and again.
When I called them back to speak to a senior person at the customer service, they said its a 4 hour call back.Their juniors are very untrained and underqualified and the seniors at the backend arent sincere in the dealing with the customer, as they don't follow through with a promise.
A few years back I even had a very bad experience with a Daikin service technician who came home for an issue. He was very bloisterous and arrogant.
