We have started a Facebook group - JOIN FORCES WITH US.

Find us on Facebook 'Customers of Daily Movers and Sky Movers - Action Group' and get involved. There is power in numbers.

Ok guys these Rogue Traders are now 'Sky Movers', thanks for the heads up Taylor. Sadly this means there are now more unsuspecting individuals / families that could also fall fowl of them!! They have gone running, leaving all of us worse off for having appointed them to do our removals - I for one want justice.

The customer service levels of this company are non existent. Very nice and seemingly professional when it comes to making your booking and taking a deposit but don't be fooled, because that doesn't last long, and if anything goes wrong (as multiple things did on our 'move') they don't want to know! E-mails, calls and letters all go answered. Even following the official complaints procedure of the National Guild of Removers, gets no response! Nor does court action!

So let's see what we can get done if we join together, it is not right or fair that they can just evade us and possibly create an even bigger pool of injured parties under a new name.

UPDATE and REPLY to Daily Movers / Sky Movers lodging a a "Compliance Report"

1. Seeking official Justice is not an offence, neither is trying to warn others, to prevent them from suffering at the hands of your organisation as we did!

2. Coming on here and trying to remove my honest review also proves that you do know exactly who Daily Movers are, something you were trying to deny on the Sky Movers page. You are the exact same people!

Just read some of these reviews and I wish I had done that before I booked them. We chose them becasue they appeared to be the most efficient and business like when we were asking for quotes. However, the removal day turned out to be traumatic. Firstly the people they employ work hard, but they are NOT trained removal people, they are labourers. they had no idea of how to take beds to bits. They had no heavy lifting equipment, no tools, and had little idea of how to move very large items. We had two van loads, well it turned out it was two and a half van loads. One of of the vans "Dissappeared" and did not turn up until the day after. Apparently it had broken down, but I wonder whether it had been in an accident as some of my antique furniture arrived damaged. That van contained our bed so we had to sleep on the floor that night. What they couldn't fit in the vans they put in in our garage and collected it in the middle of the night to brign up the second day. One of the four men, the one who had been driving the van that dissappeared, also dissappeared, only three turned up to unload.

When I mentioned "Insurence" (on the litereature it states that they have insurance) we were met with blank stares. I suspect that the main company simply subcontract to untrained people. I would not use them and I wish I could have afforded a bigger, well established company.

Full of lies and cheats

Full of lies and cheats.
2 English guys did my removals and stole my stuff. Kept talking about his fish and fish tanks and wasn’t doing his job for what I paid for. Taking long breaks very slow service. Don’t recommended at all stay clear from these removal guys!!

SHOCKING service

SHOCKING service.

Firstly - uber professional initial service and taking of the deposit. No issues there.

I was the messed about no end the day before about a late key waiver (from Jamie who was ill/then not, was the manager/then not), who was giving me conflicting advice about what it actually covered then didn’t. I should have run then.

They arrived with a van half full of someone else’s stuff 1.5 hours late. Took substantial time to load the 2 vans then declared it would take another trip. In the end we decided to do 6 car
loads ourselves as it was quicker.

I helped unload at the other end and they were just leaving at 7pm. Can’t really fault them, (even though they had shed loads of breaks), as they stuck at it.

To top it all off they took more than agreed from my account and 3 weeks on I am still chasing a refund from Andres (who’s really helpful initially then just doesn’t answer the phone).

Both Jamie and Andres have to have meetings ‘in London’ to agree refunds etc.. and neither of them ever sound like they’re in an office when you speak to them. Jamie always has kids in the background.

They don’t give a damn. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I’ll be calling Trading Standards too.

Allegedly they took the end of the drain pipe off our old neighbour’s drive too.

Very bad service stay well clear of this crap company the manager or owner of company don't even bother ringing also break and damage items and don't even offer to put it right trading standards are aware and I am going to a solicitor so thank you for a great service not

APPALLING REMOVAL COMPANY DO NOT USE...ROGUE TRADERS...

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ..
Our removal happened on the 20th May 2018 , turned up 1 HR early booked for 10am....I was not well...

Anyway all was going well until they left and noticed that they had damaged the backing of the wardrobe and incorrectly fitted...there's a gap on one side of the wardrObe and see the wall...what a joke....Thought these were professional but they are simply cowboys who just want ur money and not resolve the damage. It's 4th June 18 and Jamie the anoumous voice on the other end for all numbers...lol fobs me off and instead of being polite tells me he's terminating the call......

JESUS Christ who does he think He is.. IF THIS HAPPENED TO HIM SURELY HE WOULD BE ON MY WAVE LENGTH. ..

I'VE STILL TO UNPACK OUR CLOTHES AS THE WARDROBES DAMAGED

THE MOVERS TOOK THE PEE AND HAD SO MANY BREAKS THAT WAS COSTING US MONEY....BUT STILL OFFERED TEA COFFEE...BECAUSE I'VE GOT MANNERS UNLIKE JAMIE. ...

Steer Well Clear of this Scam Company

Please, please do not do not use this company, its a scam, they take your money as a deposit for house removals then do not turn up, so stressful and they don't care. They kept me waiting 9 hours for my house move and there was no sympathy, customer service or attempt at resolve. The guy called Jamie who took my order was more interested in chatting me up and adding me on Facebook. Stay well away is my opinion

Had this company booked for a Saturday…

Had this company booked for a Saturday pick up and they did not turn up, apparently there was a family problem with the driver. So changed shifts on the Monday on the basis they (spoke to the owner) promised the lorry would arrive at 12 on the dot. By 1.30pm they still had not turned up and I had to be in work by 4pm so had to cancel. No apologies for the inconvenience caused on the Sat or Mon, tried to get my deposit back and was told it was my fault for cancelling and it was in their terms and conditions not to refund.
Worst company I have ever tried to use !!

This company are the worst possible…

This company are the worst possible example of rogue traders. The guy Jamie who we had the misfortune to deal with is the lieing front for this bunch of criminals. How the hell he can sleep at night I really don't know. The owner Andre is even worse. They have our money. No boxes and a deposit paid for the move. After all the lies we cancelled the move with them and luckily managed to get a real company to move us for half the price. Please note they do not belong to the trade organisation they claim. There is no Coventry office just a fictional telephone number that switches through to the criminal Jamie. Now they recognise our numbers they won't even pick up. This time they have chosen the wrong people to con. We will be reporting this bunch of criminals to the police, trading standards and BBC rogue traders. Do not use this bunch of criminals. Couldn't give zero

Now 3 weeks on. The criminails have taken our money. They have blocked our telephone numbers so I can't text them. Have reported their criminal activity to the police who are very interested in tracking them down. Police have given me the address of the other company name they use probably another criminal outfit. Have emailed the criminals but not expecting a response. Will be suing them to ends of the earth. These criminals will not be getting away wIth it. Police have informed me that there is no company named Daily Movers at the address they advertise. As I say a bunch of criminals. Don't go anywhere near them. If there are any other people who feel the same and want to join together to bring these criminals to book you can contact me on 07981408301

Now referring to me (a valued customer) as a loser and saying that I am harassing him because I will not let the criminal get away with stealing my money.

Daily movers were very felixble

Daily movers were very felixble with my parents who had a few house buys fall through, resulting in a couple of false alarm moving dates. To know that they could make a last minute moving appointment gave my parents total peace of mind.

When it came to moving day my parents were assisted by Eddie and Grant and they could do nothing but sing their praise. These two men went above and beyond to help my parents with every last item. As a daughter who couldn’t be there to help, I am so greatful to the removal team. 100% amazing customer service. I would highly recommend!

Lots of bad experiences listed here, but mine was nothing but a pleasure for my move from Derby to Croydon..
Most of my stuff had already been transported myself, but the big items were left to be moved.
Grant and Jamie turned up slightly early, which was great, they moved a superking bed, sofabed and a couple of other bulky items without fuss, especially as they were having to take them up to a first floor maisonette up a spiralling staircase...
And all for a great price, which was a fraction of the other quotes I had received.
Thanks for making my move easy

We had rather a large move from a 5 bed…

We had rather a large move from a 5 bed detached to a 6 bed house. They had to physically pack 185 boxes. The guys couldn't be more polite or helpful nothing was too much to ask. Thanks for making this easier on me after my husband was called out to L.A. on moving day! I would definitely use these guys again.

Walk, no run away in the direction of any other removers!!!!!!

UPDATE - HANG ON!!! On the sky movers website they are trying to remove a load of reviews (unsuccessfully) claiming they did not know who Daily Movers were or who their Director (as registered at companies house) is.

Yet here they are posting on the Daily Movers section of trust pilot trying to intimidate a customer who has had a very bad experience!!!!!!!!

Talk about how to prove in one fell swoop that everything being said about you is 100% correct!!!! P.S. It's only defamation if it is NOT true!

UPDATE - These people are now trading as Sky movers. Head on over and make sure that people know what to expect!

They are ranked 103 out of 109 on this site and frankly I am surprised they are that high up!

If only we had looked before booking with them.

My experience mirrors that of most others here:-

1. Arrive Late
2. Various excuses that mysteriously vary and change over time
3. Ill equipped
4. Slow
5. Great communication when they are quoting or want your money but poor if you want anything from them!!
6. Brand new charges from Andre when your things are on their trucks. When you challenge these he seems unable to understand what the issue is because - everyone else just pays!

Ignore Samir Ilyas. He calls himself the manager but it is clear that Andre calls the shots and Sam can't do anything without permission.

Andre himself is little more than a crook thinly disguised as a reputable businessman. Odious!

Don't use them for goodness sake. We too have made trading standards aware.
