I purchased a corset and some tights…

I purchased a corset and some tights from the site. They arrived promptly, however the corset was too big. When I looked at the printed receipt, it was stamped ‘NOT RETURNABLE’ in red caps. This confused me because the policy on the site says that only certain items are non-returnable and my items were not among them. They make communication difficult and their policies are awful. I paid $140 for two items that don’t fit. I will never buy from them again.

Poor quality. Owner response interesting…

I purchased a vegan fringe harness and a vegan fringe skirt and was disappointed with the quality of the items. Both are very thin material and the fringe top arrived very wrinkled. I'll have to put effort into figuring out of to get all the wrinkles out. The top was on sale for $25 so at least that's not terrible. The bottom was full price at $50 and this is more disappointing. I have purchased vegan leather from both Etsy and Amazon for either this amount of money or less and received more substantial items. I reached out and the to the company and the owner replied that I was rude. For transparency I will include our conversation. I will own that I could have been more tactful. My frustration is that these products look much better online than in person. This is a valid point. Online shoppers are concerned about this discrepancy, we want to avoid being disappointed and potentially receiving items that we cannot use. No one wants to waste money.

Conversation:
Me: Hello, I just wanted to express that the quality of your products are subpar. Thankfully the top I purchased was on sale but $50 for the bottoms is way overpriced. I have purchased faux/vegan leather from Etsy at this price and it was leaps and bounds better quality than your items. I loved the style but these pieces flimsy and crinkled.

Owner: Well that was rude.

Me: That’s an interesting response from an owner. I’m not sorry, because it’s true.Very disappointed in the quality of the items I received and defiantly your response.

Owner: You definitely could have worded that in a more polite/constructive manner. I would never speak to someone that way. Even if I was disappointed. Best of luck to you.

Me: I defiantly could have, my bad and apologies. The top was a only $25 so that’s not terribly bad. I have purchased faux leather items from Amazon that were more substantial that cost less. The bottom for $50 is a lot. Like I mentioned I purchased faux leather from Etsy, where the items were better quality. That’s just the truth as objectively as I can be. The material is very thin and when I buckle the item to fit me properly the buckle pulls on the holes and material. My plan was to wear this at Burning Man and I am going to make it work. I have to find a way to de-wrinkle the top, perhaps steaming. I a a reasonable and (not a rude person) and am decent at setting my expectations for the amount of money I spend on purchased. I don’t know what else to say other than I am disappointed in the quality.
