Well I watched the videos of how to…

Well I watched the videos of how to measure and they were super helpful. I emailed them asking questions which were answered in a friendly manner. I got the corset Way cheaper than others i purchased and WOW! The material was sturdy and felt nice. it was reversible!! the supports on the front are positively the strongest Braces I have EVER seen on a corset. WOW am I buying another? Hell Yes!

This company needs to be banned from trading

This is the 1st review I've written... I have never ever received such shocking customer service than from Damsel in a Dress. I returned an order and received an email to say I'd been refunded, but the refund has never arrived, I've tried emailing (no response), phoning (rang for over 1 hr, no one answered), messaging through PayPal (no response), live chat never works, phone line says in closes at 6pm on emails and website, but phone at 4pm and it says lines close at 3pm!
Absolutely mind boggling! I can't understand how they can continue to trade.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a dispatch notification therefore they were able to take the money from my bank. However I have had many notifications to say that the item is to be delivered but it has not been. At the time of writing this review I have sent five emails and had, sadly, absolutely zero response . How can a company take your money and promise that they’ve dispatched it but failed to deliver and then provide absolutely no way to contact them. There is no phone line contact so the only way is by email and I’ve had zero response so what do I do? Please bear this in mind if you’re thinking of placing an order

Damsel in a dress has to be the worst…

Damsel in a dress has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never order from them again. I have been waiting over 2 months for a refund and they keep saying they have not received my parcel despite giving them all the return information they needed to track it. I returned my item via the post office and sent them proof of returning and the QR code etc. Still no refund.
The item I received was also Faulty which is the reason I returned it. Do not order from this company!!
They are breaking the law by keeping the money paid for the item.

You will struggle to get a refund. Disgraceful

During lockdown I ordered a couple of sizes of a couple of dresses. I returned them all and have waited for nearly a month for the refund. They emailed me to say that they have received the returned items. Three weeks later,no refund and they require proof that I have returned the items even though they have emailed me to say that they have my returns. Still no refund. Very distressing and not the kind of customer service I expect. Called them a number of times. No answer after 30 minutes and then disconnected. Will have to resort to credit card company to gain a refund.Will not shop with them again.

Shocking Service!

I placed and order on 22nd December and as yet the item has not been delivered. After numerous 'Live Chats' I have been fobbed off with the same scripted response. I am now waiting for a refund - goodness knows how long that will take!

I would not use again

I did not have a good experience, I paid for express delivery and the item took 10+ days to arrive without any updates or communication. I tried to email them several times from different accounts and the email gets blocked every time. I want a full refund for my postage as per distance selling reg's.

The jeans themselves did not fit well, they were far too small around the waist, incredibly long in length and I'm 5'8" and baggy around the legs.

Not impressed.

No Refund

Despite emailing, chatting, phoning, writing to Damsel in a Dress - I still have not received my refund. From loving this brand … it now upsets me when I think of them.

Very bad company to deal with

Ordered an item and the cancelled within an hour, they still processed and shipped the item and took payment, returned the item on 16/01/2020 and been battling ever since for my refund and no closer to having my payment returned, being fobbed off with one excuse after another, extremely poor customer service, will be contacting trading standards and advise not to order online from this company, shocking service all round

Excellent customer Service

I recently ordered a dress & received the wrong item.
Emily in customer services was brilliant in both helping me to get the correct item & with a full refund when the original dress I ordered did not fit.
I cannot fault the service I received it really was excellent.

I wish I had read the reviews before…

I wish I had read the reviews before buying from them. I’ve been chasing a refund for the last week. No response, very poor customer service. Will be reporting to trading standards and speaking to my credit card company as I imagine I will need to raise a dispute against them. Never shop from here! Disgusting customer service.

AWFUL

Not giving this company 1 star through choice but you have to rate them in order to comment.

I returned two dresses in the same package, proof of postage gained, on 1st May 2019. I had to wait several weeks to receive some monies - refund for one dress, not both?! Still fighting to retrieve my full refund....

Surely if the warehouse received one dress they received them both....what is going on here?

Now a month, at least 4 emails and 4 different customer service people later, and im still getting the automated reply....unbelievable.

Like others i will never recommend or buy from Damsel in a Dress again.

Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I returned some items and my refund was incorrectly processed. It has taken nearly a month to get my money back. Never buying from them again.

Don’t bother appalling customer service

Ordered a dress and returned it. It was revived by them 20 July now 16th August. Have phoned them emailed them and written to them. Eventually told they would refund me 9th August and would receive an email within 24 hrs. Nothing. No email no refund. Looked at their terms and conditions and what they’ve told me is at odds with these. Appalling customer service. Will be elevating approachabd willniw get intouch with trading standards. My advice stay well clear and shop with a reliable retailer. John Lewis,Debenhams . Ordered dresses from these companies returns and refunds given no problem.

Disappointment

I have generally bought 'Damsel in a dress' items from John Lewis but had a look at their own website and noticed a good 'flash' sale. A poncho at £149 was on offer for £29 so I hurriedly ordered one and received confirmation of my order.
Then a day later I received an email from 'info' which I take to be customer services, to say ' when your order was to be picked up from the warehouse it was no longer available'. To make matters more confusing, the email address was correct but seemed to be for a completely different person. I emailed again to check if it was referring to my order or someone else's and they confirmed it was to me and again used this peculiar explanation of the item not being available when 'picked'.
I replied again noting that on most websites, it shows the customer if there are low item numbers left or even 'sold out' and suggested they consider putting this information on their site. I received no reply.
Then today, I received another email advertising their sale and lo and behold, the poncho is once more on offer but this time for £74
It is perfectly obvious that the low price of £29 was a mistake and rather than come clean and say this, they lied, and said it wasn't available, implying there were none left.
I would much have preferred an honest answer as we all make mistakes, but deception is not a good way of retaining customers. I have written again to the company asking if the poncho is really available now or will it again mysteriously become unavailable, although I doubt if I will ever order from them again.
