It felt that I am calling to borrow…

It felt that I am calling to borrow some money from them, without giving it back. Extremely sad person on the phone, I had to extract information from him. He was not willing to help, just said “no, it is too late, we sent you letter on 1st of July”. Do don’t need to pinch me for me being late, I am calling for advise and for options.

Lack of empathy and transparency – cannot recommend

My experience with Danica Pension was marked by cold, rigid communication and a clear lack of respect for the customer.

After a consultation that included promises of flexibility and a so-called “VIP” arrangement, the terms were later changed without any meaningful dialogue. My health insurance was put on hold while additional information was requested, which effectively made the insurance unusable during a vulnerable period.

The communication was impersonal, unclear, and lacking empathy. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I have decided to move my pension to another provider.

I am sorry to hear about the experience you have of Danica as a company with lack of transparency and service. It is important for me to let you know that it is not your request for a dermatologist that has given rise to requesting new health information. We have obtained the information from you in order to continue your pension scheme under the new terms you have agreed with our adviser at the meeting in March.

In our letter of 3 June 2025 and email of 6 June 2025, we explain the results of our health assessment and how you should proceed. That is what I describe as good service and transparency, but you do not seem to agree with that.

I had really worst experience with…

I had really worst experience with danica. I am waiting for my pay out since January and till now I haven’t received it. Even after sending an email it would take more than a month to get a response.

Poor communication and always finding excuses instead of taking accountability.

I've worked in Denmark for almost 3 years, once I got back to my home country, Danica made my payout offer and I accepted it, signed it and they told me that they were processing my inquiry (so I understood my money was being transfered). However, days after telling me that they are processing my payout, without earlier notice, I got a new offer from them with 1,075 DKK less.
They told me that it's because I signed the first offer late (something that isn't true- cause I signed it electronically at any place it said that the signature needed to be physically signed).
Now I am complaining and asking to know which are my options and it's really difficult to get through them.
I feel like they just stole from me 1,075 DKK.

The first offer was made on 28th February 2025. In the offer we kindly ask you to accept the offer within three weeks. You returned the offer to us on 7. the April 2025. That's why we are sending you a new offer.

Kindly reply to us within the three weeks and we will process your payout as soon as possible.

Until your savings are paid out they are invested and minor changes in the value must be expected.

Problem Solved - Not the best, but worked out

I’m adjusting my review to 4 stars now as Danica has expedited the process and took 3 weeks instead of the 6 months that they have initially informed.

I don’t know if they expedited it because of the many emails and calls I have made to them or because it actually normally only take 3 weeks.

Not giving 5 stars because either way they could have done it in 3-4 weeks without creating all this 6 months drama.

In the end they made me loose approximately 20.000 Kr. due to market fluctuation.
