Even if you have a referral from a doctor, they will do their best with pathetic excuses to tell you that it is not within their competence.
No wonder the low score on trustpilot.
Very disappointed with the actual service provided recently. So many broken promises on website.
They promise help with preventing injuries and illness and getting help from their teledoctors, however the reality is very different. They don't even take the opinion of the teledoctor into consideration. Danica, promotes a sentence of "Prevention is better than cure" but they want me to wait until there is something to cure. Say I need a referral and when I get one they don't even accept it.
Not a lot of confidence in them lately.

In today's market customer experience is the key differentiator when everyone else's products are the exact same. Danica Pension completely missed this memo, offering uncompetitive packages paired with awful customer experience. I asked a year ago to cancel my pension with them, and I am still in back and forth with their less than helpful team. It is an absolute joke of a company, and to be honest I am not surprised that this is the case coming from their parent company and their recent scandals.
Even after a year of back and forth to finally get an answer on this I now understand how much they want to charge me for their inflated admin fees.
Edit to reply to mediocre response: If you check your records my request to leave Danica predates January 2022, in fact this has been going on since 2020. I had to chase to get any basic level of information on the offboarding process, no information in this area was proactively provided to me on my initial request back 2020. As you confirm yourself it took two years to get the first offer. Any self respecting company would waive those disgusting inflated fees especially the longer you get to hold onto my money the more of a benefit it is to your business. Where are your morals?

I requested a payout of my pension as I left Denmark. First it tools weeks to get the offer. Meanwhile I requested to be freed from PAL Skat as I was not sure if it might have any effect. After I received the offer, I sent multiple mails over three weeks to ask, if I should wait for the Skat approval or if it doesn't change anything about the offer. No response until I received the Skat letter. The offer was meanwhile outdated and I had to request again.
I had to proof my identity and address and this took forever. It all started end of January. Now, beginning of April, I still don't have my money. Danica is the worst.
Why can I compare this? My wife was at PFA. She requested, had the offer next day and the money not even a week later, without any approval of address and identity. It is a joke.

Answer -> Do you really want me to pull out here, how often I asked you before signing that offer, if I should wait for answer of SKAT? Because I asked for weeks and did NEVER receive an answer. Otherwise you would have had the signed offer immediately.
You asked for proof of my identity why, hmm? I have a NemKonto and a company paid my pension, so don't tell me stories, you were slowing this down intentionally. I kept the communication up, asking ALWAYS for advice and your damn poor support made this thing a nightmare!

The value of my pension reduced by 30k dkk whilst I was waiting for an adequate response to some pretty simple questions about the insurances they were charging me for.
I've now sold up and you can consider me a huge demoter of Danica Pension.

I want to give 0 star actually... They claim that they will give fast response to 3 days but you never get that. I had my 1 month new born baby who has severe rash on his face. My GP already gave the referral but due to the summer time I cannot get a skin specialist fast based on public insurance. So I turned to Danica Pension from my company. And after 1 week there is no response. So I called Danica Pension (btw they have no waiting number for their phonse service), and the lady in the phone said the doctors are on holiday that is the reason they cannot react to my ticket, even it is a new born baby... and also she said I need to upload a paper version of my GP's reference then MAYBE they can get a faster appointment. I have to go to my GP to get this paper printed version again. It really delays the treatment to the baby. Very disappointed. I called them I want to cancel my health insurance with Danica but they said I cannot.. because it is bounded to my company's package..

Took 1.5 months to get an appointment (called in november, got one in january 2022).
I called to hear options on securing my pension from the upcoming recession. I lost 7% then due to slow response from Danica. The consultant advised that I could change to 100% defensive, which sounds nice but still loses me thousands of DKK per month because its not defensive enough (I wanted to pull out of all positions). I wanted to take control over my pension strategy and invest on my own, yet that is only an option when you save up a million DKK (for some stupid reason).
So heres my complaints.
1. Horrible phone service with no approximate wait time and no possibility to be called back.
2. Slow or no responses to emails.
3. 100% "defensive" is not adequate for a recession (yes we are in one, I could have told you half a year ago)
4. Not possible to take control over MY money in MY pension, unless I have at least 1M DKK with Danica, because screw young/poor people?

I've got the referral from my GP to s special doctor but I simply can't reach Danica pension to get an appointment. The telephone number I used to call 70220119 doesn't work anymore. When I call, it just ended. I called 70250203 today at 9:20 which should be their working hour, the answering machine says "due to training, their office close at 1pm..." and then hang up automatically. I tried afew other numbers on Google and all could not get through. There's no clear instructions on how to handle this request on there website. I've paid the insurance for more than ten years and now when I finally need it, it can't be reached.

Danica Pension managed to lose 15% of my pension savings over the pre-covid year during which all markets were massively going up. And on top of that they charged me a large fee for the service.
They give you the possibility to manage your own investments, but at a fee that i consider criminal.

They made a mistake and collected too high amount from me and have still not paid me back. Have called them several times and waited in line every time and spend houres on this and have too call them again. If it was the other way around they would have forced me to pay a lot of fee’s….

The worst experience I have ever had with a company. If there was 0 stars option I would choose it. They mixed up my wife’s and my accounts. Canceled my contributions without my knowledge. I only found out because my bank was going through my finances after I purchased an apartment. After I thought we had figured everything out and fixed it, six months later still nothing being contributed to my pension. When I called to sort it out again, the rep was extremely rude. I had to cancel everything. Do not trust this company. They are completely incompetent.
I was divested from one company to another last year and therefore my Pension was moved to Danica Pension, but since then there has been nothing but problems... At the moment they have received payments in both January and February for my pension, but the money is not on my account and they are therefore not invested as they should be and I cannot see them on the Net-pension view. I am told by the otherwise kind personnel, that it can take up to 25 days before they even start looking at what is the problem. Unfortunately the problem occurred in 2020 as well - are Danica benefiting themself of the interest i should have got? i am absolutely not impressed!
I am strongly considering ending my health insurance with Danica, which I have paid for for the past 1.5 years. Now, when I want to use it, I gave up after waiting on the phone for 1.5 hours (!), especially since it initially was said that would take more than 15 minutes. I guess that was quite an understatement. I hope that Danica would step up they customer service and perhaps would offer to call up, like other companies do, instead of having customers waiting on a line forever...

I am currently in line to talk to someone regarding use of my health insurance.
As I am writing the email I have been in line for 1 hour and 45 minutes!??
I was informed in the beginning of the call that it would take 15- 20 minutes before someone could help me.
It is always a struggle to get help from them and they have outsourced their medical provider which makes things even more of a hassle. Because now you also need to contact the medical care provider, and they are only interested in saving money and being super difficult in giving you the treatment you have a right to according to the terms!
I would never ever recommens this company to anyone!
