Sorry, never again.

Very disappointed, made in Vietnam? The insole insert is flatter than that of a $8.00 pair of Walmart house slippers. Have had Danners in the past and they were made in US. Wore them a very long time with pride. Sorry, ever again.

Great Boots, Outstanding Customer Service.

Ordered a pair of hiking boots during the height of the supply chain shortage. Danner people kept me up to date each time there was a delay by the manufacturer. I finally got the boots, and they honored the old price of the boots before they had to have a new batch manufactured. It's a good boot, I wore out the old pair after 8 years. I recommend this company. Their boots are a few bucks more than some of the other brands, but they are well made and comfortable. Highest recommendation.

High HOPES

I'm not in any way rich and hardly can afford a pair of new Danner boots, but when I found a pair for sale at the thrift store that were my size and in almost new condition for only $ 20.00 I bought them!! As it went they turned out to be the best boots I had ever had in my life that was 7 or so years ago. Now I didn't know how old they were when I bought them but I can tell you that they looked very lightly used. I wore those boots everywhere for around 6 years and I work HARD outside just as hard as a man in most cases and the boots stood up to the abuse all that time and still were waterproof and just awesome! The day came when they unfortunately had to be replaced because there was no more tread left I actually wore them completely out! The only thing that could pry them from my hands was a brand new pair! I saved and saved and made due with my old boots and then the day came when I thought I had enough to get some! I was so hopeful and excited at the thought of having a pair of Danner boots that I had bought brand new . Unfortunatly I found the prices went up and ended up having to buy a pair that were on ebay and were even newer than the ones I had gotten from the thrift store so I got the boots. When they got here I was very pleased with them and they fit just as great as the others had when I first got them so I at long last threw the old pair in the trash and started wearing my new ones right away. I no longer work as hard as I use to and I don't get out into the woods as much as I use to because my old dog died and we'll I'm 55 years old and arthritis is setting in now but I do get out and do yard work for people and do still work hard when I work. So 6 months go by with light wear on the boots and one morning as I'm lacing them one of the things that are in the holes came out and was just hanging on my lace. I thought wow that's not good but decided that it wasn't that big of a deal. A bit more time went by around 2 months I guess and when taking my boots off I noticed that the toe was coming away from the rubber sole and then a few more months have gone past now and it's coming up on one year since I purchased the boots in almost new condition. That I have had to glue the toe on both boots several times they are somewhat but not completely waterproof anymore and the tread on both boots is tearing and shredded many of the hole inserts are gone and we'll I'm just really let down ! How can a pair of your boots bought used from a thrift store and when I was working every single day last longer (5 years longer)than a brand new pair worn one time when I bought them and now not even a year past and I'm not working hardly at all so you tell me how can it be that they are so trashed and falling apart now? They haven't even had half of the abuse I put the ones from the thrift store through so how is it that they cost so much more and they can't even last a year? This company use to be awesome and had a very decently priced product that was very good in quality and workmanship!! Now it seems like you guys want to just make more and more money and sell more boots. You sold out didn't you? You took the quality out and you don't care about honesty and have no pride in the quality of your products anymore. Use to be that you could tell a man by the quality and the effort he put into something. Honor and respect and pride seem to be the things that are being taken out of things now days everything is lacking you must have noticed . But instead of holding out and ending up as the BEST you sold out and now your just another boot company that's a waste of money. Chincy cheap trash. Instead of good quality sturdy and true ! That's a real easy choice what happend?? Be one of the HERO'S not a garbage boot sellout!

Return cost £66 !

I’m losing count of the time I’ve spent dealing with this - The returns process is awful. You have to take your parcel to a DHL office (my nearest is 45 minutes away) and then when Danner receive the return, they deduct the price of return shipping from your refund. This would be ok had they not charged me £66 to ship a pair of boots back to the USA. This fact alone will preclude me from ordering again. They could be the best boots in the World and it still would t be worth the hassle.

AVOID Materiel tears after 6 months

I bought a pair of £129 Danner walking shoes from Urban Industry.

At this price I would expect the shoes to last longer than six months. However they’ve frayed terribly where the rubber meets the material in this short time. In every other way they’ve been fantastic, a great fit very comfortable. But I’m very disappointed that they won’t be showerproof now and of course wearing well before they should do, particularly when compared to the many other (often cheaper) brands I’ve used.

This from the supplier:
“Unfortunately, Danner does not cover any damage or problems that result from wear and tear, including wear holes, snags, and worn stitching.

We can see that the shoes have been heavily worn and the label is illegible.

Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you further on this occasion.” URBAN INDUSTRY

For ‘heavily worn’ read ‘worn’!

Shocking. Avoid this brand.
