What a complete waste of my time.

What a complete waste of my time.
I was very interested when I heard about the Danske Bank £180 switch offer, so on my smartphone, I went onto their website to switch. On the first page it says; “To get the £180 you must complete your account switch and pay in £1000, and register for online banking, and set up two direct debits.
It is that easy, it states.
And I thought, yes, that sounds easy, then, it said, “to be eligible; You must be a new customer. You will not be eligible if you have received an offer previously. Then I am invited to read the terms and conditions. So far everything seems great. I read the whole terms and conditions.
Then I click on Apply. Here, again, it tells me the advantages of the Danske account and the £180 switch offer. I click on another apply button. I am asked to answer two questions about a sole account and if I want an overdraft.
I click on another apply button, “You are on your way to apply for a Danske account.” Then there are four key feature documents to read. After that I click on NEXT.
Here it tells me, for the first time, that the offer is only for Northern Ireland residents.
Twenty minutes of my time completely wasted.
Why can you not point this out on the first page, or on the early, “To be eligible paragraph,” or even in the title. It is not even mentioned in the terms and conditions.
Very disappointed, frustrated even angry.
