My Christmas present a half day photography workshop with Darren. I was worried as I was a beginner but Darren is well organised and he is a very patient teacher, always instilling confidence. He has helped me to understand my camera and take the time to think about each photo composition. I had the best day ever! Now looking forward to my next workshop with him in 2 weeks.

Another excellent workshop with Darren. Something I wouldn't have thought about doing, but with Darren's guidance it was a very enjoyable evening shoot.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Photography session Darren ran. I learned loads and it really helped me to get the most out of my camera.

Highly recommended. I have been a fan of Darren’s landscape photography for some time and have bought his calendar before and follow him on Facebook. Yesterday I attended one of his workshops in Ilkley which was brilliant. He is very clear in his explanations of the more technical aspects of photography, encouraging, and left me feeling really inspired to get out there and take more photos, knowing that I have an understanding of the basics to go on. Hope to return to another workshop soon.

Darren loves working with people and helping them get the best from their photography. I've always thoroughly enjoyed our walkabouts, and learnt something new every time. You could not wish to meet a nicer person or a more caring teacher.

I received a calendar as a Christmas present. Been a fan of Darren work on Facebook. I am pleased with my present and hopefully will receive one again next year.

I knew of Darren his name had been mentioned when I was looking for someone to improve my photography skills from phone to camera.My early attempts were a disaster.I have now attended a couple of workshops with Darren and the improvement is literally unbelievable.When out with Darren time is of little significance a 3 hour workshop may turn into a 5 hour workshop such is his love and passion for his subject,he has a canny knack of getting his point over without it being over complicated and easy to understand; and for me who has very little creative skills this was a challenge which was easily overcome listening and working with Darren.It may seem minor but Darren always responds to any correspondence or telephone messages as soon as he can,which is a big plus for me.

I have attended some of Darren's well organised and planned workshops, he is a very patient teacher, always instilling confidence and ideas into all who attend, whatever their level of ability, he has helped me to understand my camera and take the time to think about each photo composition..........and he is a thoroughly nice guy.
