Dartmouth Harbour Office Disgrace
If I could give less than a star I would. My father was looking after a friends boat who was away. He then had a heart attack and the harbour office charged him because he couldn’t move the boat as he was lying on a hospital bed. All the harbour office had to say was “but it’s not your father’s problem.” They didn’t seem to understand that yes it is as he is responsible for the boat while his friend is away (for a long time).
Absolutely disgusting.

Stayed at the Royal Dartmouth Yacht Club self contained flat. Likeable flat and good location but oh my word the mattresses at over £600.00 for 3 nights are a nightmare and so uncomfortable; how do they get away with this? Severe back ache every day and would never stay here again

The Royal Castle Hotel Dartmouth made us feel very welcome. Pleasant, attentive staff and very good food.
Very interesting building steeped in history.
We would recommend a stay here.
Dartmouth itself has many attractions with the advantage of ferries to interesting places.
Plenty to do and see.

Parking in Dartmouth is a nightmare even between October - April. God help you in May-Sept. will no go again due to this. It’s like they don’t want tourists. 4 hr max stay in town or 5 hr max stay in long stay car park 2 miles away. No good if you are staying for 2 nights!!!! Trying to work out the Ringo machine is also a joke. Card payment not accepted 🤷. Will never go again without parking being available at the accommodation.

IT SHOULD BE -5 STAR Whent for sunday dinner 3 of us the food a disgrace over £60 on the plate 2 and half roast potatoes 4 pieces of dry pork about the size of a bank card propper up on edge against the potatoes with a peace of parsnip looked like it was cooked a day or two befor now for the veg came out in two bowls about 8ins acrooss in it was some red cabbage looked llike sick 4 small carrots the size of a
small finger 6 tiny pieces of cauliflower and broccoli also looked cooked the day befor we had to share between the three of us IT WAS A RIP OF it is a run down place I woked there in the 70 tese it was a lovely were it said Queen Victoria stayed £ 60 we were robed
