Having worked in data engineering for years and still finding the interview process frustrating, Zach's bootcamps have been a great way to be unemployed and get better in every way, I sharpened my tools and picked up a few new ones along with great insights which ultimately led to getting employed in today's heinous market again, thank you DataExpert.io

The program is really a booster for data analytics personnel like me. It is really an eye opener and great teacher of the breadths and depths of data engineering.

The best DE platform to learn. 5 star for Zach Wilson but the platform could have been a little better with the UI. Nevertheless very happy with the content tho.

Zack really knows how to communicate and add value with his bootcamp

The bootcamp for me was an all-in-one Jumpstart from being a Data Analyst to becoming a Data Engineer.

What made my experience great throughout this bootcamp is that Zach gave me a solid hands-on experience within a short while, to the extent that I was close to landing a Snowflake Data Engineer role after an interview with a Multinational Company few weeks into the bootcamp. The only thing that prevented me from securing that role was that I needed to smoothen out rough edges and bridge some knowledge gap within the data engineering ecosystem which I consider a call to continuous learning on my part.

This was the major highlight for me. Thank you Zach and the entire DataExpert.io community. God bless you!

The boot camp community is very good and free

The most honest and effective camp out there

The company explicitly asked for 5 star reviews to be written in exchange for extended access to its learning content. This is a direct violation of Trustpilot's rules. When this was pointed out, Zach Wilson did take away the incentive. Trustpilot is very clear that businesses should not be offering incentives. It's disappointing that it took a few honest reviews in the sea of hundreds for this company to change its practice. It's made me distrustful, on top of my disappointing experience with the content.

I took the free beginner data engineer bootcamp. It has been disorganized since the beginning. The biggest disappointment was the lack of homework. Zach spent a significant portion of the pre-bootcamp video emphasizing the importance of doing the homework assignments to the learning process, including a demo of how to submit the homework for feedback. However, there have been no assignments. If this bootcamp was just meant to be a series of videos, it should have been advertised as such. The pre-bootcamp video is longer than the entire bootcamp combined. It's unclear if there is more content coming. Yesterday's incentive email says there is, but a moderator on Discord says all of the content for the beginner bootcamp has been posted.

Based on this experience, I have no interest in pursuing any of the paid materials. While Zach has a lot of experience, an expert's stream of consciousness doesn't automatically translate to helpful learning.

Zachary is adding so much value to the data engineering field by helping the community understand complex concepts by using very direct and easy to understand lectures.
