To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Datatector is a personal security platform that protects you from scams and takes your personal data off sale. Our Chrome extension guards you while you browse. It blocks look-alike scam sites before they open, flags phishing emails in Gmail, turns off risky extensions and takes back camera, mic and location access from sites you no longer use. We also watch leak data for your email and phone number and alert you when something new shows up. Scams often start with your public data. Your name, address, phone number and relatives are listed on people-search and data broker sites, and scammers use them to make fake emails and login pages sound real. Datatector finds these listings, sends removal requests to every broker that lists you and shows you each deletion we complete. Brokers often re-list people within months, so we re-check monthly and re-file when your data comes back. Everything is in one dashboard: what was checked, blocked and removed.
