I am amending the review I posted on the 17th March 2025 this is to do with David Joseph chimney care I have now received my chimney sweep certificate for my insurance company today 29/01/2026 from David Thank you from Kenneth Peever

David came on the 24th of February to sweep our chimney for the first time my husband and I thought what a nice Young man was gave us a lot of tips how to use our fire correctly. I have given him one star because I am still waiting for my certificate. I have emailed him and text him telling him my insurance company need it but I have had no reply. I will change this, one star if I get my certificate ASAP And if I do not receive my certificate David you can cancel the appointment you made for us for next year on the 17th of February 2026. Ken. David came at very shortly notice to clear nest/sweep chimney and supply and fit a cowl.
Very nice guy, professional, clean worker and would highly recommend him.

Great service from David. Reliable - came at the agreed time to sweep the chimney and gave me some really good advice about how to operate and maintain the wood burner. Have recommended him to several friends.

Had a chimney sweep, David was punctual, clean, efficient and got my report to me on time.

The nicest and most professional guys - Dave and Ben did the most beautiful job in installing our log burner, repairing our crumbling chimney, lining the flue and putting in a new hearth and mantle piece. Dave is an absolute expert who advised and offered solutions from the first ideas stage through to doing the whole job for us, start to finish. Super polite, tidy in their work and focused on ensuring both safety and a stylish finish. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Booking was easy; they arrived on time and were clean and courteous throughout. Competitive pricing and good value for money. They spotted a potentially dangerous issue and provided estimates for corrective work. No hesitation in recommending them.

The service was excellent. They were very professional, yet friendly. The whole time they were respectful about the house, keeping everything clean and very nice touches such as air freshener at the end. An excellent local business and will definitely use them again in the future.

Received an email to confirm the timeslot, on the morning got a text to tell me what time he would arrive. Arrived on time, did some covid chat before coming in and laying down some sheeting. Had some really good kit for doing the sweeping which was done throughly with no mess at all. Serviced the log burner and was done and dusted within the hour. Really nice and polite, will be using him again, although I'll book in advance next time.

I couldn't recommend David more highly. Lovely guy, very professional, excellent communication, punctual, clean and tidy and a good price. I will definitely be using him again next year

Had David around today to sweep our chimney. He arrived on time and was very pleasant to deal with. He is a very nice chap and took the time to talk to us both about what he was doing and how well the chimney was working. Offered some very positive suggestions to overcome occasional down draught problems. Left everything clean and tidy. Invoice and test certificate sent promptly and a very reasonable price too. Will definitely use regularly. Thank you David!
