Trustpilot reveals the true ratings of Dayforce. Because I have the garbage app, it frequently logs me out despite me accepting a feature (offered by Dayforce) that keeps me logged in. I absolutely hate Dayforce for this. Keep the 1 star reviews going.

Useless

Useless, lagging, keeps signing you off all the time, you need to have a second app for authentication, problems with gps location . What is wrong with clocking in and out on a normal machine instead being forced Useless apps. Some of my colleagues can't even run the app anymore no customer service no help.

Terrible Password Recovery System - Security Questions With No Other Option

I'm completely locked out of my PowerPay account due to their incredibly poor password recovery system that relies solely on security questions with no alternative verification methods.

I forgot my password. When I try to reset it, I must answer security questions - but I don't remember the exact answers I provided when I created my account years ago. My company's payroll administrator can trigger a password reset email, but when I click the link, I'm right back to the same security questions. There is literally no way forward.

No Alternative Recovery Options:
- No way to verify identity through email
- No phone verification option
- No support line for employees (they don't respond to employee queries)
- Even with my payroll admin's help triggering the reset, we hit the same dead end

PowerPay defends this as a "security" measure, but security questions are widely recognized as outdated and problematic:
- They're subjective - answers change over time or depend on how you interpreted the question
- Anyone who's known you personally could potentially answer them
- They're far less secure than modern two-factor authentication
- Even banks have moved beyond relying solely on security questions

This is my payroll information - paystubs, tax documents. I have a legal right to access this information, and PowerPay has made it impossible.

For a system that employees are forced to use (we don't choose our employer's payroll provider), having a single point of failure with no backup recovery method is completely unacceptable.

Every modern platform offers multiple ways to verify your identity and recover your account. PowerPay's approach feels trapped in 2005, and their lack of employee support options means there's literally no one who can help solve this problem.

Bottom line: If you forget your security question answers with PowerPay, you may never access your account again - even with your employer's help.

I called because I had changed my phone…

I called because I had changed my phone number and they had blocked my card. So, They transferred me to 8 different people. They could not answer my questions or resolve my issues. Very poor customer support: This is significant frustration with Dayforce's customer service. They were slow response times and inconsistent quality from support representatives.
Support staff being poorly trained or siloed, lacking the knowledge to address complex, system-wide problems. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they would not transfer me only escalate. I had repeated more than 20 times that my old number doesn't work, they keep asking the same question. Poor Poor customer service. And, everyone I spoke to had a heavy accent I couldn't really understand.

IF you are a CEO, CFO, HR please do not force your employees to use this software!
This is my complete and through opinion of this company.
It is a terrible application that is forced onto employees. It has tons of broken features that the software company in charge has no clue how to fix or is not inclined on fixing. Best way to explain it: It is what happens when you buy an app for time cards off Temu! There is no support for this trashy app. even in the web version. Companies will lose good employees for this. You are going to have to have a back up plan when this is down. It is down ALL THE TIME! At least 4 full days per week.

customer service

The customer service representative I encountered displayed unprofessional behavior. Despite providing all necessary information, she was unhelpful in assisting me with accessing my Dayforce account. I recently changed my phone number, which caused the application to malfunction, resulting in a forced password change. When I detailed my situation, she dismissed my concerns, ignoring my urgent need for financial assistance. I proposed alternative verification methods, but she refused to consider them and abruptly ended the call. The application continues to experience technical issues, repeatedly requiring me to create new passwords, only to subsequently indicate they are incorrect. It further complicates matters by attempting to verify my identity using my deactivated old phone number. This experience exemplifies subpar customer service.

Absolutely terrible unable to log in even with multiple times they have changed my password. Need my wage slips not had any for a few months now. No one seems able to sort it UK based. The date of experience is more than today i would give a zero.

Spam on personal emails never given permission to access i incessant. Massive amounts of wasted money on direct mail to addresses they were never given permission to contact. Violation of confidentiality and abuse of access.

They do not know how to fix bugs

I have been overtaxed for the last 4 months and soon will be the 5th month due to a bug in their Payroll software platform.

They are not aware of what are the consequences of their mistakes and when they are informed it takes months for them to fix issues.

Dayforce payroll system is not recommended at all. If you would like your employees not to pay extra tax do not buy payroll services from Dayforce.
