Having undertaken a major rebuild of our house the support we received from Olly, Darren and the team over the 2 years it has taken was first class. Their professionalism, support and knowledge was reassuring to say the least. We had numerous builder issues which Olly brilliantly addressed quickly. Whilst I am done with rebuilding I would have no hesitation in recommending DB Structural.
Initially dbstructural seemed responsive and did our build calculations in a reasonable time frame. The worked seemed complete and adequate, however problems started to arise when our build started.
Our experienced builder needed clarification on some of the calculations and wasn’t confident in their work. At this point dbstructural were very unresponsive and reluctant to liaise with our builder. Our build started getting delayed while we were waiting for clarification - db then wanted another £180 + VAT for a site visit which the builder really felt was needed but seemed expensive given we had already paid out thousands to them for this work.
We finally had to approach another structural engineering company and pay out again after losing faith in their ability and work quality. Would not recommend.
