ZERO Star, Do Not Use in Central Florida
ZERO star: Failed tile install, unresolved since November 2025, Owner verbally committed to $5,700 reimbursement.
We hired DCE on a referral for a renovation that included tile and grout work. DCE doesn't do flooring in-house, and the tile install failed. We've been trying to resolve it since November 2025. A third-party evaluation of the workmanship was done, but despite repeated requests we never received the results. After the original contact left the company, the matter moved to the owner. A settlement was verbally agreed to, but the paperwork took months and required constant follow-up, and I haven't received a response since August 2026. Because we were already moved in, we ended up covering the failed tile with LVP flooring instead of having it redone. This was our third home renovation, and communication and follow-through were by far the worst we've experienced. I'd use another company that is trustworthy.
