Our goods were destroyed in transit by…

Our goods were destroyed in transit by Deadline Couriers. When we attempted to make an insurance claim following the incident, we were initially advised by a member of staff that there were no grounds for rejection but later discovered the claim had been rejected over a month earlier with no communication. We were left to bear the full cost of replacing our equipment ourselves. While the courier fee was eventually refunded, this did not come close to covering our losses. The lack of communication and difficulty resolving this matter made for extremely disappointing customer service. We would not use this service again for valuable or fragile goods.

Next Day Delivery is completely subcontracted to DPD

Paid a premium, but received poor DPD service instead.
​I booked a 'next day' delivery for three medium-sized parcels traveling 160km. Because I paid a 50% premium, I expected Deadline Couriers to handle this as a secure, door-to-door service. Instead, the entire process (collection, sorting, tracking, and delivery) was completely subcontracted to DPD.

​The delivery itself was bad. DPD did not ring my doorbell or call me, completely ignoring the specific delivery instructions I left on the website to call prior to drop-off. Worse, they delivered the packages to the wrong house and left them in an inaccessible storage area without leaving any photo proof.
​By sheer luck, a neighbor happened to be outside, saw the misdelivery, and unlocked the storage area for me. I then had to haul all the packages to my apartment myself.

​I am not sure why I paid a 50% premium to Deadline.ie when I could have just booked DPD directly. I would have received the same frustrating service, but for much cheaper. I definitely do not recommend Next Day Delivery. Cannot say anything about other services on their website.

But, at least it's delivered.

Deadline are a great courier company

Deadline are a great courier company to work with. They are fast and efficient and the van drivers are always pleasant and professional to work with and go the extra mile to get a difficult package delivered. We would highly recommend them.

Top class Professional Courier Service

Top class, professional service provider.
We are a busy Dublin based printing company, shipping everything from small boxes to large pallets all over Dublin.
We use Deadline as our Delivery partner, they provide a fast, prompt delivery service, with a large fleet of vehicles. Their online booking system is fast and efficient to use. Mark Levy is our contact and he is regularly in touch, checking in to see that the service is still running well.

As an Irish Fulfillment company

As an Irish Fulfillment company, we use Deadline to book deliveries for our client brands. Deadline are very flexible and give us complete control over timed or urgent deliveries.

They’re great to deal with and always perform well. We highly recommend them for same day or important shipments.

Easy & dependable courier service

I recently used Deadline Couriers for a same-day delivery, and was very impressed. Getting a quote was easy. Their online tool is quick, user-friendly, and upfront with pricing information.

Booking was just as smooth—I received clear confirmation within minutes, and the driver arrived earlier than expected. My package arrived safely and exactly when I needed it.

Customer service was friendly and responsive when I had a quick question about pickup details. Overall, Deadline made my whole courier experience really easy and dependable. I'll definitely use them again!

Deadline great to deal with

I've Been using Deadline for a year now in our busy warehouse and find them very good, from the office staff, drivers and Mark the rep. I would highly recommend this company they are always on time and very organised.👍

Dead brain couriers

Should change name to dead brain couriers. What a donkeys on the road. Dangerous, speeding, tailgating vehicles. I would never ever consider using these cowboys 👎👎👎

Horrific customer service

Absolutely horrific customer service. Had no idea they’d even attempted delivery as had left no tracking info. Called their number to get an extremely rude operator who was less than helpful and then hung up on me. Avoid like the plague.

Small claims here I come!

Worst courier service I have ever encountered. I needed a new office desk shipped to my home. I could not use my normal couriers as they would not carry this package as it would be considered oversized. It consisted of 2 packages. 1 large, the top & modesty paneI & fixings for assembly, the 2nd smaller package contained only the side panels. scoured the net and came across Deadline. "No problem" I was told. Took the details over the phone including my card details & payment was taken immediately!
I asked for confirmation via email. I received nothing. i spoke with the supplier the next day who informed me that my regular courier had picked it up, not Deadline. They had obviously contracted out the collection & delivery. I gave it a furhter 24hrs and contacted Deadline as I had received zero information or confirmation from Deadline. I was told someone would return my call. No one did. The following day the side panels arrived but the no sign of the larger package. I contacted the driver who informed me that this sometimes happens and to wait another day to see if it turns up. I waited until the evening of the next day. I still had received no information from Deadline. I again contacted them. I was told they would look into it and get back to me. I waited for over an hour and decided to contact the local delivery depot who informed me the package & contents were badly damaged. I considered what they told me and asked if they could send on the desk as it may be salvageable (me trying to be decent) The next day the package arrived. The damage was worse than expected & described but I could still have made it work were ot not for the fact that part of the damage was a large hole in the end of the carton and the package containing all the fixings was missing. I contacted both the driver and his depot and no one had seen them. The desk was now ruined. I contacted Deadline by phone, again, no one returned my calls. I sent emails and, to date, no one responded.
I am now left with no alternative but to take a case to the small claims court as I am now out the cost of the delivery, the cost of the desk, the cost of having to dispose of the desk and have had my project delayed as I cannot currrenly afford to order a replacement. I have never had to claim for anything in my life, this will be the first time.
So in summary, stay clear of Deadline, their service is terrible. Communication is woeful. Their customer support is non-existent. I will return to post the outcome of the small claims case.
