Non-existent customer service

Purchased a high end solder iron at the lowest cost, delivery was very prompt. Solder gun turned out to be defective. Called the number on my Dealershop pick ticket and got a woman who speaks Chinese only. She transferred me to an English speaking representative who gave me another number to call. Called that number and got voicemail, no return call. Went to the Dealershop website and called the number there, more voicemail with no return call. I filled out the email form on the website and have had no response.

I contacted the manufacturer and they have been very helpful promising to make things right. I told them about my ordeal with Dealershop and they plan to contact them about their relationship with the company.

If the solder gun had worked I'd have been thrilled, it was significantly less cost and delivered in two days. As the previous reviewer commented there was no communication about order or delivery status, in fact my credit card provider flagged the sale until I approved it. I probably should have realized something was up.

Best Price I Could Find...

I was a little worried about ordering from DealerShop, because they had no reviews on SiteJabber or TrustPilot. But their website looked nice and they had the best price I could find on a Blair 11099 Rotabroach Metal Hole Cutter Master Kit (Fractional). Placed my order, immediately got an order confirmation email. And then... nothing. There was no "your order has shipped, here's the tracking number", or anything of the sort. With each passing day, I got more worried that I had been scammed. Thankfully, one day the hole cutter kit showed up, and was exactly what I had ordered. All's well that ends well... but their communication isn't what is expected in 2025.
