Decked doesn't need everyone's money.

I was really looking forward to purchasing a glider. But after calling to make a purchase $2200 with two credit cards (part of this purchase was coming from a friend that wanted to help with the purchase) and the rest from me. But Decked some how could not make this happen because "There system could not do that". As a business owner, if a customer wants to purchase from me I do what ever it takes to put money into my pocket. I guess Decked is doing great and doesn't need everyone's money.

Website confusion cost me $350 and never got the product

Website was confusing with the model of truck I have, so I accidently ordered the wrong one, and cost me $350 to send back. When I originally purchased it was $100 off, with the accessory pack free, so to re-purchase the 'right' one would have been over $500 more than I originally had to pay, which at $1500 was splurging for me. So I took the $350 loss and cut my losses. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it, but at a final cost of $2100 it wasn't worth it anymore.

Buyer, be forewarned

First let me say, I set up my decked system on Friday and it works well. The reason for the 2 stars is for their slow, or lack thereof, communication and the delivery service they use. When I received correspondence back from them, I was told they were so far behind due to demand that I'd be looking at 10 weeks. That was fine with me. I had a system I already built that needed to be pulled out on my upcoming down season in January, so 10 weeks wouldn't be so bad since it was early October. I ordered the dual drawer system for a ford transit. To my surprise, it was shipped just a few days after I ordered it. Not a problem. They admit though, that the free delivery service they use has a spotty reputation. Sometimes there's a tracking number, sometimes there isn't. Fortunately I use the shop app and they kept me up to date. It took about 5 days to reach me. It would be shipped on a pallet and I would receive a call the day b4 it would be delivered. I got the call, and was told it would be delivered the following week, probably on a Wednesday. The day of delivery they gave me a window of 1-4pm. I get a call that the delivery man is there 1130am waiting for me. I have to leave a jobsite and just hope this guy waits. I live in los angeles and traffic is a nightmare. I get there and the box has a small gash on it and it's not on a pallet at all, and the back is not taped. Either it was shipped that way or it was removed from the pallet by the delivery company. Now I'm worried that my $1700 investment is going to have pieces missing because the box has a back door and isn't keeping anything in. The service wouldn't wait for me to inspect to make sure it's all there. Like a dummy, I tipped him and took my chances. Fortunately, miraculously... everything was there. No followup from decked, and they never returned my email. They boast their prices are so good they don't have sales. Well, I would have spend the extra to have a reputable freight company deliver my package properly. I blame decked, because they acknowledge that the service they use isn't the best and I can vouch that it's downright crummy. So is their customer service and followup. I probably won't buy from them again or recommend them. Buy at your own risk!
