Dedicated Audio is a horrible disreputable company!

I am a 30-year high-fidelity enthusiast with a massive vinyl collection, and my experience with Dedicated Audio was a masterclass in unprofessionalism.

I purchased a $6,000 Thorens TD 1601 turntable that arrived with severe structural damage: a bent cantilever, a crunched headshell, and a dropped VTA. When I reached out for support, the owner, Dan, provided the most reckless technical advice I have ever heard in this industry: he told me to use a cosmetic makeup compact mirror to attempt a DIY repair on a precision tonearm assembly.
Furthermore, the owner engaged in a documented attempt to provide false statements to the manufacturer's distributor to block my refund.

It took weeks of mediation and the involvement of the distributor to finally get my money back. I have officially reported this business to the Arizona Attorney General, the FTC, and the BBB.

If you value your equipment and your money, stay far away from this dealer.
