Honestly the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of working with. We were forcibly transferred to deal when they bought Omnipresent. They completely fumbled the handover, sent us threatening letters at their mistake, withheld significant funds due to their own mistakes, and had the most useless customer support I’ve ever worked with.
Simply the most useless company I have ever seen.
A note that Deel have finally replied below. This has been an issue that has been ongoing for over FOUR months now, and they have refused to escalate internally.
Take your business elsewhere- this is a commoditised service, and these guys are frankly the worst.

Have been using th platform for almost a year now. Money is always delayed in withdrawal. They try to keep the money as long as possible to make the most possible benefit even if the user will face issues, however they don't care.
When withdrawing to a local currency bank account, called swift transfer, they impose an exchange rate that is even much less than the the worst ever possible exchange rate. They keep the withdraws status "Processing" for the longest time possible, even for days, to use the money of course for their benefit.
Advice that deel can be in some conditions and with single transactions, not recurring like a monthly salary.

Deel does not make it known to customers that the pre-advance funds are being given to contractors without your authorization and without withdrawing the funds from your bank. They also have no ability to cancel or adjust an incorrect invoice amount within minutes of creating it in the system, which creates a plethora of problems. They also require an extremely rigid pay schedule in contractor agreements that doesn't reflect reality. So, you end up doing lots of off-cycle invoices with higher fees as a workaround.
Deel's support is significantly terrible. They have not resolved an ACH payment issue that has prevented me from paying my contractor for over 3 weeks now. Their support agents keep ignoring all the solutions provided and blatantly refuse to apply the promised credit note to my account. I have spent countless back-and-forth emails, held 3 Google Meet calls, and exchanged 10 chat messages with their support team, yet there has been no resolution to my issue.
We are going for 3 weeks, and Deel's support continues to refuse to resolve the issues and keeps sending us in circles with significantly incompetent responses.

The withdrawals are pretty broken lately. First GBP withdrawals are removed for Turkey months ago and no response on when it might come back. So I'm paying more fees, loosing possible better convertion rates on my side as I'm forced on the rate on Deel, and not able to decide when to convert if I got it paid in GBP.
The withdraws were taking 1 day at most. Now it's taking 4-5 days sometimes more. Also, I had a fail on my last one, cost me 3 lost days + additional 4-5 days for the next one.
I am loosing interest on these days on this money. As I live on these payments, all my payments are delayed as well. Rent, credit cards, daily payments on food, etc. I am eating my savings this week because of this delay.
Customer support response was "The delay was due to a technical bug." Cancelling the withdraw 3 days late because I reported it is not a solution. At least a compansation could be given.
The experience lately on this is pretty bad, and I'm now in stress thinking is this going to happen everytime.

Do not trust this company with your payroll if you value accuracy, accountability, or basic competence.
After an over-withholding error on my taxes, they promised both a refund and a corrected W2c. They delivered neither. When I followed up, they reversed course entirely, claiming there was no over-withholding. Then, they tried to dismiss a documented "rounding error" as if it didn't count. It did count. It was $60 taken directly out of my paycheck that they had no intention of returning or correcting on record.
Failing to file a W2c isn't a minor inconvenience. It's a federal tax document issue. They either don't understand that, or they don't care.
The support structure is a revolving door of reps who each give contradictory answers, with no continuity and no accountability. The clearest illustration of this: a rep once sent me a message asking me to confirm whether Max — their own employee and the last rep I had spoken to — was my employer. They couldn't keep track of their own staff.
The PTO and sick leave system is opaque and poorly explained, and there is no single point of contact to help navigate any of it.
I'm not alone in feeling this way. Virtually everyone at our company experienced problems. We ultimately switched providers mid-year, which was a painful and costly process, because the alternative was worse. We couldn't continue to let this company mishandle our finances and tax records.
If you are evaluating payroll providers, keep looking. Trust me.
UPDATE: It took exactly one hour for this public review to solve a three-month "impossible" accounting error. Deel has finally issued the full refund and W2c. They have also been quite persistent (via phone and a flurry of emails) asking me to delete this review. I’ve decided to keep it live. Future customers should know that at Deel, "customer support" apparently activates via Trustpilot reviews.

My experience with Deel has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
After completing onboarding successfully and even receiving a welcome email, my account was suddenly blocked without any explanation. Since then, I’ve spent over 10 days trying to resolve the issue, submitting all the requested documents, only to be told multiple times that Deel “cannot provide services”, with zero transparency on why.
What’s worse is the complete lack of accountability. Support responses are generic, inconsistent, and often contradictory.
Deel refuses to clarify whether the issue is related to compliance, documentation, or internal policy. Instead, they repeat vague statements, "due to regulatory and compliance requirements" and leave users in the dark.
To make matters worse, I received automated emails implying I had not responded while my case was still active, showing a complete disconnect in their support system.
At this point, I do not recommend Deel to anyone who expects transparency, reliability, or basic support.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Deel regarding a recent payment. My funds were marked as reflected in my account on April 1st, yet I was later told they would not be available until April 6th. After contacting my bank directly, they confirmed that they never received any incoming transfer from Deel at all.
When I raised this issue with Deel, I was told this delay is part of their “process,” which is extremely concerning given the lack of transparency. What makes this even more frustrating is the inconsistency I have previously received payments from Deel on a Sunday (August 31st, 2025), yet now they are citing weekends and holidays as reasons for holding funds. Sometimes the funds reflect on the exact date stated in my contract, but most of the time it takes an additional 3 days, and now they’ve extended it to as much as 6 days.
This lack of clarity and inconsistency in handling payments is unacceptable, especially when it involves people’s money. There seems to be a disconnect between what Deel communicates and what is actually happening with the transfers.
This payment was made by my client through Deel as a platform, and it is incredibly upsetting to deal with these kinds of issues. It creates unnecessary stress and uncertainty.
I would strongly advise others to stay away from using Deel until they fix their payment reliability and communication. This experience has been far from professional.
