Excellent product & customer service. I have done my research on Solar Lights, I purchased 1 light as a test. I have since purchases another 2 Street lights and require another 6 in total as I live on small average.

The solar street light I purchased has charged for more than a week in bright sunlight, but does not work. I followed the installation instructions correctly. However, after more than a week of bright sunlight the unit has no power at all and won't respond to the remote control.

The installation instruction note that the activation button should not be pressed until the unit id fully charged. However, this is a major problem for three reasons. Firstly, if the unit is being in stalled in a high position, such as at the top of a steel pole, the user has to climb up and try to get access to it when they believe it has charged enough. Secondly, there is absolutely no way of knowing if the activation button has been accidentally pressed during handling or installation. There is absolutely nothing to indicate whether or not unit is 'active' or not 'active'. The third problem is that there is no way of telling whether the unit is charging or has charged enough. So after a week of bright sunshine, I don't know whether or not my unit is active, and if it is, whether it is charging.

This unit is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

Do not buy this unit, and perhaps do not buy anything else from Deelat.

NOTE - After posting the above review I sent an email to Deelat requesting follow up. A representative from Deelat called me back the next business day. He told me that to activate the unit I needed to hold the button down for three seconds. After doing so, the unit worked has as intended and does a great job.

My frustration would have been avoided if the instructions stated that the activation button needed to be held down for three seconds.

So now my assessment is that the product is great, the follow up in resolving problems is very good, but the installation instructions are very poor.

We ordered 18 solar lights from Deelat, We found Deelat staff very easy to deal with and very helpful. The lady we dealt with followed up as she promised she would and when the stock was available the delivery time was excellent, much quicker than I could have ever expected.
We are yet to use our products however previous purchase has proven to be very good.

Sent light ordered promptly. When opened it was obviously a second hand fitting. Dirt over it, leads all hooked up, things not it the right place in the packaging, instructions crumpled and dirty and folded inside out. Called Deelat and they were most apologetic and sent a new fitting straight away which arrived the next day - which is amazing considering it normal takes 4 days or more to get deliveries to Norther Rivers area. Their response to the problem was first class.
So they would have got 5 stars other than the initial stuff up.
