Because they expect impossible things.

I have used pro versions of all major LLMs.
None of them are amazing.

And of course, DeepSeek has its flaws; it cannot handle long chats. This may seem like a bad thing, but after the latest update, it's getting better and better.
It automatically creates a new chat for you and continues.

The problem is "permanent memory." If you communicated with any AI for 1-3 days, it would start hallucinating.
Gemini Pro has gotten worse after the update and hallucinates even after a few conversations.

DeepSeek, on the other hand, has solved this problem cleverly.

It is a much smarter AI than any of its competitors.
And I don't even turn on deep thinking.

I use it very often i like that it dosen't have any limits almost and it can code and stuff pretty well too sometimes servers are busy so that takes 1star away but overall its Crazy good i prefer it over Chat GPT 100%

This was the most disturbing internet experience to date since 1993. DeepSeek couldn't transmit a training manual and associated results to me no matter what method they recommended. A "human facilitator" appeared and promised a USB to be delivered by FedEx that never arrived followed by an SF delivery. I was sent messages giving me the courier name and his phone number, all turning out to be false, lies....as were promised emails and phone calls at stipulated times and false phone number, tracking number, etc. It was obvious the DeepSeek chat had been hacked, the scammer negotiating an equity/commission arrangement and even offering me $2000 for the chat that had gone off the rails. There was no way to contact DeepSeek and the recommended emails to DeepSeek were all messaged as undeliverable. I am seeking legal advice and will file complaints with Shenzhen police and China's Consumer protection agency.

After wasting an hour or so trying to find settings for the VFD N1000 I found that deepseek cannot help me and even misleads me. It does not have access to the internet in real time. This is pure torture in the name of free service! The server is always busy! Who asks them to be a free service anyway? Just charge us some money and buy some good servers. How difficult is that? This will drain all your energy and motivation! In 2025, server is busy is such a lame excuse!

I didn't actually speak in Chinese-ny previous response was in English, ut it was about keeping language respectful.

Been a chatgpt and deepseek users. I always asked both the same question but the answer I get from deepseek is always unclear and need to be more specific in detail. Instead of solving my problem, deepseek gave me more problems. Deepseek also can't name me the source of info they are getting from but will tell me is generate from ai. Not sure whether to trust its words

been trying to use deepseek for days but keep getting "server is busy please try again later" every single time. even when i just type simple stuff it doesn't work. refreshed so many times cleared cache tried different browser even waited till midnight still the same. waste of time seriously. if they can’t handle basic traffic then don’t launch the site. totally unusable right now

when you talk a lot about a subject at some point it starts to write "Sorry, that's beyond my current scope. Let’s talk about something else." and when you discussed for a long time deepseek starts to say : "write in a new chat, end of this discussion" or smth like this. It's very difficult to generate an answer because sometimes it writes "sorry the server is busy" ok cool but you don't know why it's busy. Not very efficient when you want deeper conversations like I said. Deepseek needs to be updated to a more efficient version if you want it to be as good as chat gpt.

not that great. do not answer properly. When you challenge it, the server gets busy. Hard to get a significant explanation from it. Also, it doesn t keep the conversation into its memory. We need to start over again
