THE worst Support Ever
THE worst Support Ever. Received the RC Drone as a Christmas present. The person who bought it for me even bought insurance (guess I'll be using that, but not to get another DeeRC.com drone.
Unpacked the drone. Flew it once for a few seconds, but was interrupted. But it was a nice 15 seconds while it lasted. Next day when I had more time I set up with my cell so I could see the camera. Hit the autolaunch button on the cell phone screen -- nothing in the manual about "dart mode" -- but touching the cell phone autolaunch button was like someone grabbed the drone and threw it hard and fast straight against the wall. Now it won't sync.
Time to contact support.
All support wants is the order number. Well, I've sent it several times in different formats. Note that they don't want the drone's serial number or anything else. But even with the order number, support wants me to contact the seller, they're not interested in supporting their own product apparently. (They say they can't find the order number in their system -- how about the serial number of the drone?)
Guess I'll file with the insurance company (yes, insurance was bought with it) -- I expect they'll be as happy with the support as I am. I suggest going with any drone other than a DeeRC.
