Prior to booking with Delta I contacted your special assistance dept to ascertain what options I should consider prior to booking or flying. I am 66 yrs old with mobility issues (blue badge holder) and wanted to ensure I received help at the airport and sat with my wife and grandson. I was granted a lanyard at M\CR airport so i could be recognised when i flew within the European Union. I was advised that the Budget ticket was my best option to ensure I was sat with my carer and grandson as seats would be allocated at Heathrow. When my brother-in- law booked he selected a different option. Recently he upgraded on the Delta App and I proceeded to do the same, but I found this was not permissible with my particular ticket. Also, additional luggage fees are to be charged. Is Delta discriminating against disabled passengers? I will await your reply before emailing ABTA, The Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), Disability Law Service & the CEO of Delta!
Absolutely joke
Absolutely joke. Their customer service agents are very unprofessional and don’t have a clue how to speak to people politely! I spoke to a D. Davis (sounded female) and that was by far the worst customer service agent I have spoken to. I think they need to train their staff better or simply let them go.

Unpleasant flying experience
The website was not working, making it impossible to check-in online. Terrible flying experience, flight attendants were extremely rude and payed no attention to us for most of the flight. Furthermore, the food was worse than the average, and the blanket was more of sheet, so quite uncomfortable. The only positive point was the free Wi-Fi connection on board, although it was only possible to use it to sent messages on WhatsApp, and a decent courtesy set including eye mask and earplugs.
Customer Service DREADFUL!!!!!!!
After taxiing to the runway at Shiphol Amsterdam the plane stopped and the pilot announced the wings of the plane were frozen, because it took an hour and a half before the wings were defrosted i missed my connecting flight at Salt Lake City, on the flight internet was available but only to Deltas own website, so i rebooked my connecting flight. When i arrived a SLC we were told the new flight had changed gate, twice! Then, they cancelled the flight altogether stating no reason. This was Thursday 2 pm local time, i was given a €15 meal voucher, a €100 credit voucher and told that Monday was the earliest they could get me on a flight. They suggested i pay for a hotel on their list and get reimbursed after. I had paid €200 to travel with my dog, none of the hotels accepted dogs on their list, was i willing to stay 4 nights in SLC to wait for my flight? No way! I booked a South Western flight for $725 to complete the journey, i slept on a bench with my dog at the airport, Delta will NOT help you you are on your own, now i will take legal action against them, they are useless and do not care about you at all, just dreadful

Terrible website and customer service! I cant believe my luggage was losts on a flight returning to texas. You can not even check in on their site. I demand compensation for my luggage!

Absolutely fantastic. After a horrific 2 part journey out to the USA with a different airline, I was dreading the internal flight we had booked from Orlando to NY. Delta was incredible! Could not have been more pleased with the service. If only other airlines would take note!!
Never again with Delta Airlines
Have had an absolute nightmare of a week and not a great experience at all with Delta or KLM for that matter.
I recently flew back from STL and was supposed to go on to ATL-AMS-GLA, however the ATL flight became delayed and was only giving me 19 minutes of a connection. I was there in plenty of time and there was also an earlier flight so I approached the Gate Agent in a very polite manner to enquire if I could get on that one to which I was told with a hand in my face to go and sit down as it wasn't my flight. I then approached the same Gate Agent after the earlier flight departed to ask what to do. He then said with attitude to come back the following day as if I knew what to do. An off duty crew member overheard the conversation and said I should try another Gate so I went to the DTW gate to which Necole advised I could get on there so I wouldn't miss my connection to AMS. The one star review is for her as she was the only one willing to help which is absolutely shocking.
As if that wasn't bad enough I was then told my baggage didn't arrive when I made it to AMS but I had seven hours. It turns out my baggage did not even come on the following flight and instead had went to Atlanta. In Amsterdam I was advised to complete a baggage report which I did even though I had a further flight to get home. I explained this at the time but was told as the delay was with Delta my baggage would be sent to my home address which I accepted as wasn't going to be in from Atlanta until the next day and I didn't want to miss my flight home. I then had to go back outside the airport and was made to queue for four and a half hours to get back through security without as much as a drink of water.
On arrival home I put ref number to track my bag and it won't let me check. After countless phonecalls internationally failed emails and wassap to both Delta and KLM the only information I have is that my bag has been sent to LHR on a flight as apparantley that is a hub but that's no use to me and is at the other end of the country. I was told in AMS it would be sent to GLA and then my home address . I have every boarding card, bag tag number and all the info yet no one will help me. It has now been 9 days since I had my bag in my possession and when I got home I had another week of work which has been nothing but trying to chase up something that wasn't my fault. Everytime I get through on a phone I'm either cut off or told something different. Complete and utter shambles with undue stress I do not need. I a lucky to have travelled the world with many an airline and worked in the industry as crew for a different airline and can honestly say have never been treated like this. The customer service is diabolical. My flights were expensive and I paid extra for my bag as well as all the contents for my work. Never ever again.
Stolen Camera, no support
So here is my little story. I flew from Belize to Atlanta and onwards to LA. In Atlanta, I had to get my luggage and get it through customs. I relaized the top of my backpack was open, but could not see anything missing. Since I was in a hurry, I took only a quick look, so in LA I finally realized that somebody had gone into my cover bag, into my backpack, and then into my camera case (small pocket shooter) and took my camera out. Not the whole camera case, just the camera. So I went to the luggage counter in LA and filed the case. I got a case number and no email address i could go to. As a non-american, calling into the US is pretty annoying, but they said it was the only way.
And then nothing happened. So after 3 weeks of not even getting a confirmation email or anything, I called into the US. 1.5 hours waiting time and then suddenly a person was able to tell me I had to register my case only. New information, so OK, I did so. Again no email.
Another 2 weeks later, I called again (1.75 h waiting time) and said I though I had registered, but never got a confirmation. Answer was, that without a case and not a file number, the lady could do nothing for me. So I tried registering my case again. First the website did accept my file, that needs to be uploaded (if you find the upload button), but then did not go on. Then, the file was suddenly not accepted, because it was in the wrong format. Strange, because it was the same file. A few days later, the capacity for the case was reached and no more files could be uploaded. However, still no email and no case number.
So I called again (3 hours waiting time!). And guess what, no case number, no answer, sir. Sorry guys, but if I was a renowned airline, I would a) want to get this settled quickly and quietly, b) know who the thieve in my staff is, and c) not annoy customers with endless waiting line.
Definitely room for improvements, but not for me anymore. Count me out Delta, I rather fly Spirit next time.

Having the worst Delta airline experience today
Having the worst experience today with Delta. 9am Flight delayed from NOLA to Atlanta therefore missed connection to Toronto. Waited near 2 hours in a line then Rerouted to NYC to connect to Toronto. At NYC after waiting 3 hours plane delayed a further 2 hours then 40min to departure told a further delay of 8 hours. Then spent 2 hours in a line waiting for a hotel. While staff where friendly along the way the service was appalling. Don’t ever intend flying with Delta again if I can help it.
Easiest airline
Delta's staff is always professional and eases the stress and unexpected issues that come up with travel. They treat customers' problems as if it were their own and seek out the best solutions. The app is also great for booking and tracking flights for a very convenient experience.
No communication from Delta in relation to lost baggage
We are very disappointed after what started out as a truly exceptional experience traveling on Delta Airlines from Dublin to JFK - Fort Lauderdale and return to have all 9 of our bags misplaced. We arrived into Dublin at 8.30am on January 10th and as of now (5p.m. on Tuesday 11th we have no indication from Servisair who manage lost baggage on behalf of Delta at Dublin Airport we have no information other than that they were sent to Charles De Gaule Airport in Paris. I have spent my entire day email, phoning and trying to get a contact in Delta to help us however it has been impossible to get either an answer on the phone or a reply to my email from Delta. This is really concerning considering all 9 of our bags are currently in their care. So disappointing that our trip has ended this way.
Paris to JFK with Delta
Flew from paris to JFK with Airfrance, flew back with Delta, the difference for the same cost was staggering.
Lack in customer service, no inflight entertainment on 7.5 hour flight. Lacking in drink variety and service.
I will never book Delta again avoid if at all possible.

Just came back from my nephew’s wedding…
Just came back from my nephew’s wedding in Dayton Ohio. Had a Great time with Family and new Family members.
My only complaint is the trip from Ohio to Michigan and then to The Great state of Florida.
Delta Airlines is the worst airline , even worst then Alligent Airlines !!!!!!!
They have no respect for seniors.
I found most of their employees are accommodating , kind , respectful and just nice.
But the the reject gate supervisor was not friendly to seniors. Our bags were taken from us at the gate tagged and sent to baggage. And then we were told we could pick up our bags in baggage at Tampa Airport. We were ignored by this person at gate A 70 in Detroit and were not given the opportunity to explain that I am a handicapped Veteran and have difficulty walking long distances. We had to go to baggage at Tampa wait for our bags. Then we had to take different elevators to get to long term parking. This was at 12:15 midnight. If this is how Delta is going to treat seniors, I will never fly them again. I’ll go Alligent next time and at least be respected.

When we reached the ticket counter they informed us that our tickets were canceled and there is no delta office in Istanbul airport we can contact. Luckily we had money to buy return tickets next day . We have been calling delta for two days and didn’t reach a mutual agreement, when you call prepare to stay on line for min 60 minutes and if you are calling from overseas imagine the cost, the last representative was so rude .
Pay a few dollars more and get a piece of mind . The choice is yours.
