Mercedes A class was serviced and an oil leak was identified. The repair was quoted and the work completed at £1500. Vehicle continued to leak oil and an additional repair was recommended at over £2500!!!!
This repair was subsequently completed at Prestige Mercedes in Ipswich at half the price.
Poor diagnosis in the first place and then attempted to rip me off for the required repair.
Sharks, avoid at all costs
This established Mercedes Garage came highly recommended and has been servicing Mercedes for many years. Doesn't like complaints. Doesn't reply to customers email complaints.
My wife booked her A160 series in for a main B service. Arrived 10pm got a call at 12.30pm. car is ready but with issues. Needs Brake fluid changing. extra £100. Needs Cabin Filter Changing. extra £50. needs wiper blades and two front tyres. (which she has on order) engine rattles from cold.
How can a car that was driven an hour to get to the garage be cold? It was still warm when we picked it up at 1.30pm!
A B service at Main agent includes brake fluid change and Pollen filter.
Just paid £355 for an oil change, oil filter and air filter.
We went to Mr Wells because he was a Mercedes Authorised repairer and wanted to keep the service history correct. What a waste of money!
Charge for 5.8 litres of Titan Flex 5w40? £90.20!!
eBay price delivered £40.54 delivered.
All in all I'll just use a back street garage from now on. Even I could change an oil and air filter.
Simply paided top price just to get the service from an authorised dealer.
There is nothing in this review to be argued with.
Be warned ask what's included before you agree to the price and get the work done.

The diagnostic check that you booked was carried out, and the findings relayed. We appreciate you did not wish to go ahead with the work the check advised due to your personal timelines but based on the initial work being carried out we still need to charge for our standard diagnostic fee.
