There was an unadervertised £50.40…

There was an unadervertised £50.40 delivery fee on the £220 double buggy trailer I bought.

Such fees will apply to all UK buyers as Deryan are importing from the Netherlands (a Brexit benefit for us). This is of course all covered in the terms and conditions, but not clear where you purchase.

I was surprised as:
- it wasn't obvious they aren't UK based (it's a UK site, in English etc)
- I've never previously bought something with fees applied and not included in the overall price
- the site makes a point of advertising £0 delivery charges
- the site advertises same day / next day delivery (it actually took 2 weeks)

It's not Deryan's fault the import fees apply and it's fine to make a mistake and not advertise them clearly. But, they haven't acted on my suggestion to more clearly advertise these, and I think likely I'm not their first UK customer so others will have pointed this out before.

The buggy seems good from first use. So just be clear with customers that significant import fees apply. You erode trust by not doing so.

Horrific experience

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a baby product based on a specified delivery date. The product then arrived late and I needed it for a trip which we had already departed for. I have tried to return it and they won’t offer me a return label and the cost to ship it back is as much as the product. Dealing with their customer service has been abysmal. Taking advantage of new parents on limited income is disgraceful, will never be purchasing for them again.

Not shipped

I bought on 5th march, after 11 days still it's not shipped out. Last week I got mails that it's ready shipped DPD have only information that it's only creat level. Today no Ody responding on mails

We bought the Luxe High Chair in…

We bought the Luxe High Chair in white/wood and we recommend it. The delivery was fast, the quality-price balance is great and the chair is comfy, easy to clean and to fold. The design is nice, also. Totally worth it.

AVOID

AVOID! DO NOT USE!
Never received such terrible customer service in my life. Not convinced they even have a customer service team.
We received our order (highchair) however they failed to supply the screws to be able to build it. I am going into my 5th week of chasing them and still nothing. They are now causing a delay in us being able to wean our child! Unacceptable. Extremely disappointed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!

Good price for the products

Good price for the products. Poor communication via email about which items were shipped and a significantly longer delivery time than promised. The products seem sturdy and durable. The packages were well packed.

Stable and Comfortable Car Seat

I bought the Charlie Basic i-Size car seat for my child. The delivery was fast and the product arrived in good condition. The car seat feels stable and is easy to install in the car. My child sits comfortably in it and it fits well for children between 100–150 cm. I am satisfied with the product and the purchase experience.

I found my package in the garden in the…

I found my package in the garden in the evening by accident, DPD just threw it there. It took a while before I got it and to found it like this, is dissapointing. The product itself for the price is oke.

Ordered 3-1 stroller on march 7th

Ordered 3-1 stroller on march 7th, and I’m still waiting for the order to be processed. Order day = expedition day is a lie, and when you email them a bot or AI replies within a minute saying sorry the order will be sent soon but you have no details. This looks like a scam, waiting for a few days still hoping for it to be processed.

Impossible to return your product

I really don’t like to leave a negative review, and I wish I could recommend this web shop. But I’m rather desperate now. The only thing to do is to warn others not to shop here. We were very happy with our Deryan travel-tent for kids. So we bought a big size tent for the whole family. We unpacked it a few days after receiving it and immediately noticed that there was some sort of production or material damage on the inside. Also, the overall quality was not like the tent we’ve bought in the past. So, we created a return. That was 5 weeks ago. We still have not received a first reply. After a few weeks of silence and trying to ping them via the official return form we wrote them directly outside the form. Only to receive two robot-generated e-mails, telling us to please be patient. And which told us that we could always create a return without questions up to 2 weeks after having received the order. That was 3½ weeks after we placed the request for the return in the first place. We’ve been nice and polite all the way through, but still no response. I’m sure there are some nice people behind this business, and everything seems legit on the outside. But their customer care is non-existent. Then, a few days ago, they have the audacity to send a marketing e-mail titled “A special reward for you as our VIP Customer”. That was my turning point. I don’t really think I’ll ever hear back on the return. I’m stuck with a tent and a rain cover that I am not going to use. I’ll give them a few weeks more before reporting them to the ECC and then I’ll try to forget all about this poor experience.

Do not trust or rely on “next day”…

Do not trust or rely on “next day” delivery guarantee! Despite numerous emails no-one has even bothered to check what is the delay caused by and a week later the order hasn’t even been dispatched yet!

Just really don’t like false marketing and fake promises.

Two child seats

I ordered two child seats on Monday because I needed them by Tuesday. The items were listed as in stock and promised next-day delivery. After repeatedly chasing customer service, I finally received only one seat a week later. In all communication, it was clearly stated that the order was for two seats.When I emailed them about the missing seat, they asked for three photos, after which I have not heard anything back. This is a shame, because the products themselves are decent for a reasonable price. However, the false advertising and lack of communication make the company untrustworthy. If I had known the order would not be delivered on time—or not in full—I would definitely have ordered elsewhere.
