Lack of clearance over the weekend

Dear Patrol Guys,
I'm looking forward to getting my item, but unfortunately It is held up with the Portuguese postal clowns.
I got an online notification on Friday asking to clarify details for Customs clearance, I did this and have heard nothing since. I Guess its the Holiday weekend and the Portuguese can't be bothered again - adding at least four days to the delivery time.
Is there anything you can do from your end?
