BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!
BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!! DESERT TIRES, located at 3800 Vista Chino, is A SHADY business with a crooked, rude, lying business owner named Juan Sanchez. In my opinion, Sanchez is a fraudulent operator, based on my direct dealings with him and his business. His license with B.A.R. is delinquent. We bought 4 brand-new tires with a warranty for $640, and within a few months, 2 of the tires developed balls in the treads. We returned to DESERT TIRES for replacements, and Sanchez refused to honor the warranty. HE LIED and said it was our fault because we needed a wheel alignment. Number 1: His shop does wheel alignments. If we needed an alignment, then why not tell us when he installed the new tires?
#2 We DID NOT NEED A WHEEL ALIGNMENT BEFORE OR AFTER BUYING THE 4 NEW TIRES. Our steering wheel is positioned straight. There is no play while steering. No shaking while driving on city streets or on the freeway. SANCHEZ LIED. PERIOD.
SANCHEZ proceeded to cuss me out. Tell me he was not responsible and to call the manufacturer. HE DID NOT HONOR OUR WARRANTY. We then bought 4 new tires at Walmart for over $700 installed with a warranty.
Walmart confirmed WE DID NOT NEED AN ALIGNMENT. I will report Sanchez and DESERT TIRES to B. A. R., who I hope will open an investigation into this business.
Shady owners and businesses need to be cited when cheating and mistreating customers. Senior citizens, be extra careful to AVOID DESERT TIRES. YOU WILL NO DOUBT BE CHEATED AND EVENTUALLY MISTREATED should you ever have a problem with their tires.
