In Nov 2022 I paid for a CANON camera to be shipped to to the UK and they were very helpful to that point (I had to pay a huge import fee - they said they would pay it then refused), then when I found out there were no instructions, Asian plug then they became very rude and not very helpful as I wanted to return the camera... also clearly the camera was not for EU/UK market. I sent it back at my cost to Germany as they refused to pay for the return and were very rude.. They then received the camera, but now WILL NOT refund my money or answer emails... so this is THEFT and I will be seeking police and legal assistance to recover my money. DO NOT USE. As now as of Feb 2023 they have not sent me my money back and do not answer emails, so clearly they are criminals.

Leider musste ich nach dem Kauf feststellen, dass das gelieferte Canon RF 100mm f2.8L MACRO IS USM ein Grauimport ist.

We have checked the serial number of the product that you supplied in your email and can confirm that the product was not originally intended by Canon for sale in the EEA (European Economic Area).
Please be aware that some genuine products being offered for sale may be “grey” or “parallel imports”, and though these products will inevitably be genuine, they were not destined to be sold in Europe and therefore have not been localised for European countries. The warranty and any cashback details will also be invalid if the product was not destined for the European market.

We typically advise the consumer in such cases where a parallel import has been purchased that you seek redress from the seller from where it was originally purchased.
