I started this project with design raptor in February 13, 2023 I was told project will take at most 4 months and I worked with them durning the process during the process there where additional charges on top of what I payed for the project purchase. I got to the point where the project manager was asking to money every week for something that has to do with the project I have proof of all transactions and have requested for a refund but the project manager isn’t helping so I reached out to the company from there main website and got a hold of a company manager and they said they will investigate it it has now been well over 30+ days and no response from him he doesn’t even respond to my emails. These people are complete scammer this was my first time trying to start a business and my experience was completely horrible 10k in loss as of now. So I would highly not recommend this company to anyone

I had begun the process of having a website for my business. I found these folks online and decided to move forward. The process began with conversations where I continuously declared my lack of knowledge in this area and, in turn, the need for their detailed guidance. They were very friendly but the work being done was very...disjointed and each part bounced from person to person and the building of the website took almost a full year!! To their credit, however they achieved it, the website was very good. Unfortunately, the costs continuously added up as it was hundreds for this and thousands for that. Communication by text is not really a professional system and after requesting communication by email I would receive some by email and some by text with no continuity. After all of the overcharging and poor communication, I decided to move the website (all of which I paid for including the physical server) to a local provided for ease of access and better communication. The Weblogies folks suddenly were nearly impossible to get in contact with or to receive communication from, never followed through with what was promised when I did get through. I had to pay a substantial "domain" fee but they were unable or unwilling to provide the information to me to be able to communicate with the domain provider for the purpose of moving the site. Some of the early on interactions were friendly but it always cost me more money and now I own a physical server somewhere that I will never see or use. Stay Clear is my strong advice.

SCAM... DO NOT BUY!!! I have lost thousands of dollars & months of time. They are all international: fake names, calling with fake numbers, fake texts, etc. They have fake people like "Sam Wilson" & "Steve Johnson" who will be your project managers. They can't write or understand English. Their team will schedule things at 8pm at night because they aren't located in the US even though they claim to be in Miami and New York. They said they were issuing a refund and never happened.

4 months into this and all I have is a paper.

I went back to Designs Raptor for a major site redesign. Dozens of Desktop and Mobile pages created in photoshop by our in-house designer, lots of very complex formatting and design requirements, and their design team dove in to bring our vision to our Wordpress website. It was an exacting job. Sam Wilson and his team did it very quickly. And they didn’t mind me following up. Perhaps most important, they let us know when making changes would require custom PHP code that would make our site very hard to support and very fragile in the future. These are hard working, determined people who strive to meet deadlines and design meet requirements. For time, speed, and commitment they can't be beat. Note, they also built our site with a lot of tools that allow us to maintain it, which is crucial.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! Do not use. They will continue taking your money and extremely unprofessional. Find someone else and do not lose money to this scam.

FYI, DesignsRaptor is NOT working/operating their Web design Co. out of 8875 Hidden River Pkwy Tampa, Fl as it shows on their website and as I found out but are actually overseas in Karachi, Pakistan, so they told me. The truth came out after I planned to fly down to Tampa & meet with my rep & the designers after 3+ months of receiving basic mock-ups, basic logos, excuse after excuse and having my rep upsell me on a dedicated server he said I had to have and pkg upgrades I had to use. It would of been another $6,000. I was almost agreeing to it all, afterall, I am not a web designer. Instead of flying down I called a dear friend in the Tampa area and he said he would gladly go meet with them and check them out. I scheduled a time at 11:00 on thursday 6-6-23 which was agreed to by them. They would gladly meet him and show him the office and he could meet the TEAM ! My friend got there, the receptionist on the 3rd floor never heard of DesignsRaptor nor are they on the directory of the offices there. The stories that came out of their mouths were unbelievable. Absolute BS !! That's when the truth came out after I spent 2+ weeks demanding the truth and my money back. I have 3+ months of text, emails, upsells, lies from these people. An Absolute nightmare, time consuming horrid experience ! They texted me an address in Pakistan, I google earthed the address, it wasn't them, they admitted. They apologized, sent me another address,it wasn't them either, then they said they all work remote, but who knows. They use a mailing address/service for that address in Tampa(they said). They have all taken english names(they told me) to communicate with americans (they told me) otherwise they wouldn't get any business(they said). Be careful y'all. Beware!

Instead of investing any money with DesignsRaptor take your money into a safe open area, light it on fire and enjoy 2-3 minutes of warmth. You'll get more value out of the 2-3 minutes than dealing with them.

My guess is that all or most of the 5 star reviews are crafted in-house. Think about it…aren’t all the 5 star reviews just a little bit over the top? Like just gushing….plus they sound the same!

Comically bad. I purchased a package for assistance for a Shopify set-up. Weeks tick by.....minuscule amounts of work, if any. No actual discussion around what your page should look like yet lots of planning phone calls that are spent insisting that your webpage will be wonderful if you invest another $_xxx.xx hundred/thousands of dollars. At one time they insisted that they needed $25,000.00 for AP development yet my web page still remains unfinished. AND yes....the amount of zeros in that number are correct.

Was promised ETSY integration at the start--tech assigned had no idea what ETSY was.

And I agree. I believe the developers are overseas. They pop up at odd hours. Uncertain about their actual web design capacity.

I don't know if Designs Raptor is intentionally a scam or just dysfunctional as a business but unless you desire wasting money and thrive on frustration DO SOMETHING ELSE!

Was promised a money-back guarantee at the start and when I asked for one was told the money had already gone to the developers. For what I have no clue. It sure wasn’t work completed for me.

Fred was very professional and cordial throughout my interaction with him. I wanted a professional-looking website for my company and, Fred was able to provide that. From the first interaction, Fred patiently laid out a clear project plan and executed it with quality. I appreciated Fred's demeanor and his respectful attitude. He always followed up with kind words and to the point. I would recommend Fred Martin to anyone interested to have built a professional website for their business. Thank you Fred :)

I wished I never went with them in the first place. I originally messaged them because I wanted a simple Migration on shopify. They told me they had a "Shopify Package' where they'll design something from scratch.

Let me start out by saying, I was promised a delivery period and it was missed by a landslide. On top of that my "project manager" was not even responsive. I had to get in touch online and make complaints to finally get a message back.

Charged me a good amount of money (almost 10x what was offered on offerup for similar services). They did not design from scratch, as a matter of fact they used woodmart theme which was a $50 dollar theme.. They charged me way over that amount. When I saw my page performance drop, and our overall google rating dropped in terms of those performance. I had messaged them to fix it.

They then came back and told me I needed to contact Shopify because it was a Shopify restriction. They sold me logos, designs, and all these add-ons.. I was upset because I told them I didn't want anymore sales tactics and upsells, I just needed the job done.

After some promises they'll get it done by the 30th... of last month. Never got it done. So I just removed their access. Literally paid someone 40 bucks on offer up and fixed my pagespeed in less than 4 hours to nearly 100 from their 19.

Absolutely garbage and misleading to charge me thousands, and give me a $50 dollar theme without actually knowing liquid, telling me to contact shopify support to fix it because it's on their end. I got a developer of offer up to fix it the same day for only 40 bucks. Now I'm out of the money I spent with designs raptor, time, and on top of that, the page STILL has a lot of flaws that was repeatedly requested to be fixed.

Disappointing experiences all around, and absolute waste of money. I gave them chances, after requesting for a refunds, I decided to give them another chance, and then was disappointed yet again.

Recap:

-Charged me for logos, for website designs from scratch, thousands in total.

-Never finished, ghosted me until I contact them

-Requested refund, but spoke to manager and gave them another shot.

-Told me it's a shopify thing, and they can't fix it.

-Tried to upsell me on "accessibilities", Animated Logos, ADA compliances.. How are you supposed to do that if you can fix simple code?

-I hired an outside source for 40 bucks off offer up and they fixed the same day.

WebDev-Pagespeed... Literally gives you the codes that are slowing down performance and HOW to fix them. Insanity. Absolute scam.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND, even to my competitors.

UPDATE: They tried to tell TrustPilot that I was not their customer. If I could upload screen shots of my complaints with them, I would. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they just took my money and tried to discredit my reviews. You can see why I'm upset.

Design Raptor exceeded our expectations on the rewrite of our website. Danny Edwards was instrumental in us achieving our goal on time and within or preset budget.

My name is Sherry Fisher and my assigned Manger was Peter Kim, he built a non profit Website for my son Khary,who was killed, and were seeking justice for. Peter is only 27 years old but has skills. I renamed him the webmaster because he can figure stuff out. It took longer to complete because he did not have the helper who was initially assigned to assist him.. Peter has great customer service skills,he's courteous and flexible with his time. The site is ⁹starting to look extremely professional. The logo he created for the site is "the BOMB" Peter's website developmenantal skills are great! It's not complete, but it's almost perfect.

Recently worked with Sam Wilson for a non profit website development. He is very focused and customer oriented manager. His timely effort enabled us to complete the project on time .
