We used Design Team for our house extension. Which has been approved by our Local Council.
Steven our Arquitect is very professional, specially with the design for my disabled husband requirements. Thank you Design Team has been very supportive throughout the process.

This is a review for the design stage of our rear extension. So far so good, Nick has guided us throughout the whole process always answering our concerns and questions promptly. David has been fantastic as well, giving us good, practical design options; we amended the design quite a few times until we were happy with the proposal. I also wanted to mention Santa for great communication and following up with the progress. Overall a great team. Looking forward to the build stage.

We had been looking to buy a house in London for quite a while and had considered properties requiring significant build work but did not have the knowledge to make the move. Design Team changed this totally. They visit a property on an estate agent viewing and provide a detailed report on build options and approximate costs in days and this transformed our approach. We found John at Design Team so professional that we continued with him through the full design and planning process. His responsiveness, expert design and process management of what will be a large ground floor and loft extension has been exemplary. We are looking forward to completing the house with his Build Team partners.

BuildTeam handled the design and planning of our single storey extension project. From start to finish, their work was professional and to the point. They got our plans approved by the local Council without a hitch, which was a big relief.

David Abimbola has been working with me to design my new extension. From the first conversation he understood what I wanted to achieve, and he put my designs down on paper without any issues. This was fantastic for me, as people working in the building trade often find it difficult to understand the ideas I’m trying to describe to them. David was very polite, accommodating, friendly and helpful, and great to work with.

The Build Team has been a great service! Nisha the architect has been fantastic working with me throughout the project she has gone above and beyond in her work for us. Nick has also been great and is an excellent negotiater making it possible for my dream home to be real.

We had a very positive experience working with the BuildTeam throughout the design phase of our back extension in a conservation area. John McNally has been very professional, extremely responsive and helpful throughout. John helped us with design plans, after many changes and iterations, prepared and submitted the planning application, assisted and advised us when the first application got rejected. We also received very quickly the technical drawings for the builders. Overall, we had an extremely positive experience and we really recommend them as they are very experienced and efficient.

John McNally from the design team has been incredible. He always responded to all my queries very quickly and was extremely patient as we trialled lots of different layouts over the design phase. Will be recommending him to friends and family!

We used Buildteam to do our architects plans, John was very professional, helpful and patient and was there to help at every stage of the planning, he was successful at getting our planning permission through, which we were very happy with. Our structural plans were also drawn up in order for us to find a company to take on the project. John was particularly good at explaining elements we didn’t quite understand and made sure where possible to keep to the brief within budget, and if the budget couldn’t be kept to explain other ways round to keep our costs down. We wouldn’t hesitate to use John on future projects

Had a great experience using Steven Davidson for our design plans for a side and rear extension as well as a loft conversion adding two extra bedrooms. A good experience and good results.
The team was easy to deal with, pleasant, and efficient. They listened well and did a good job of delivering a design that matched what we wanted. We’ve had some experience with another firm: this was much better and generally stress-free.

In the first half of 2023, we worked with Design Team on our plan to build a single storey extension and internal renovations of a garden maisonette in West London. We received outstanding service and support from Design Team, from the day we first contacted them to the last day of the application to planning permission. We chose Design Team for two reasons. First, their package for the design, structural calculations, planning applications and party wall notices are ideal to avoid contracting multiple service providers. Second, the separation of the design process from the building work allows for the selection of other competitive builders. Special thank you goes to John McNally. He is highly professional, courteous, responsive and a good listener. He fully grasped what our plans were and he accommodated our subsequent changes with an extremely cooperative spirit. I fully recommend Design Team and John to prospective houseowners with renovation plans.

Design Team have worked on my my side return extension planning. The team have been extremely professional and clear about process / scope. It has also been helpful to use their party wall service etc as a one stop shop. Most importantly the planning process has sailed through without any issues.

We have been working with Design Team since late December 2022 on a house project for a rear and side extension that has just gained planning approval. Working with Santa Datta as Designer has been excellent and she has been very receptive to all our comments and changes in the design process. The fixed fee design package removes uncertainty and encompasses all the you need in terms of design, planning requirements, and ability to tender a detailed specification. The Company also has other key staff to assist e.g. in Party Wall Notices, Landscaping and they have also been very helpful. This has all made the complex process much easier for us in advancing our project.

I first met the Design Team at a property show and spoke to David Abimbola about my thoughts of converting a house into flats. With our initial meeting he started coming up with ideas and suggestions e.g., we could apply for a pre-application first to get the initial thoughts from the council on the idea before progressing to a full application, I didn't even know that there was such a thing as a pre-app. I immediately realised that David was the right person to help me with this project. Since then, David has managed to get planning approval to convert my house into 2 flats and I am now looking at progressing this to the next stages with him and his team. I am also speaking to David about other projects and have recommended him to others.
