Negligence at its worst
I bought a ticket with Despegar.cl travelling with British Airways back to Chile from London on 15 of September
2020. 24 hours before the flight I rang to British Airways asking if everything was fine to check in. They told me the flight was cancelled and I have to speak to the agency where I bought the ticket. I started to ring Despegar.cl in Chile and they told me that they will send a mail to British Airways to allocate me a seat with some partner. In this case Iberia. 30 calls from me, friends and family no solution yet. I go to Chile for a dental operation that I had arranged long before. I have written a review before and it was erased! Why? Who has the power to do so? Here I am waiting to hear from Despegar.cl when I am going to get that flight. This is horrible disappointing for me and it is time for this agency to solve the problem. Avianca are a bunch of LIARS
Kiosks at every stop both Santiago and Orlando took forever for attendants to show up. So both times I had to wait an hour and a half plus to get bags checked. Bought business class flights so I could get on their particular plane with PODS so I can lay down as they were over night and on both trips just got regular seats which I cannot sleep in. I would have gone to another airline if that was the case. I was cheated.
