I ordered free samples and then some detergents from them plus bottles and spray dispensers. Absolutely terrible communication. The detergent arrived in big soft plastic containers with hard plastic nozzles. There was meant to be enclosed packing for return of these plastic containers for reuse (the whole point of buying these liquids). However after numerous emails which they haven’t replied to I know the return packing isn’t coming. I have complained twice to them about their slowness, but more about their lack of customer service. They seem unbothered and that it is my fault for wanting customer service!
I believe they are going out of business and trying to cover this up. I wouldn’t go near them again. The dishwasher detergent liquid is pretty rubbish in my opinion, doesn’t clean properly. Much better results from other eco products, tablets and sheets. Avoid, avoid.

Despite the company offering free samples, then massive delays because they didn't expect the volume of people requesting those samples, the only communication I've had after several months was "we'll definitely ship your order soon". Weeks later still nothing received, no contact from them to advise of timescales and even after emailing them for an update they just don't respond.

I'm sure they'll respond to this review though.

Avoid them at all costs, just a data grabbing company who sell your information on!

I have ordered at end of April, not a sample order, and I have waited long time. Past the 2 weeks mark, I have started to send emails which were all ignored. Past the 3 week mark I used their WhatsApp way hoping they'd see and reply to my message. They did and after 3 days back and forth them sending me the sample "response", which was not my case, they finally said/guaranteed me they'd ship my order by the end of the week (this week). Nothing was shipped.

I have sent another message yesterday which was read today and fully ignored.

To you, costumer service: if you are not shipping my order, just say it. If you don't ship my order by next week, delete my data.

It's disgraceful, horrible costumer service and unreliable.

Just thinking I was considering swapping my usual supplier for cleaning products to you. Not anymore. Very unreliable and they don't keep their word at all. I prefer paying more for good and honest costumer service.

We were in the dark for a month until they pronounced themselves about the sample situation. And now I am in the dark about my non sample order.

I have experienced delay on orders before but never had been in the dark regarding them, as other companies would be honest from the start and give update in a proper timeline and then would give chance to the costumers to choose (or not) to keep the order. This way? Never in my life.

Edit (6-06) - After supposedly fulfilling the order at the start of the week (never received, they probably never sent), they have cancelled the order. Why you, Deterdraft, offer a generous referral scheme for then not fulfill then cancel with no explanation. I have contacted you more than 5 times regarding this and you always ignored me.

And it looks like I'm not the only one who got ignored. Few reviews below mine there's one customer complaining of the same thing about referral orders! Avoid this unreliable company at all costs!

I am appalled at the level of greediness of some vultures who think they are ENTITLED to FREE samples where they paid not a penny for them! How dare u think you can bash anyone on here cos your free samples didn't come?! I didn't receive my free samples and got the email and simply unsubscribed as I didn't want to pay for a sample incase I didn't like it and didn't want the company having my personal data on their records. I was disappointed like many that the company would take so long to tell people they couldn't fulfil their end of the bargain cos of high demand but I never emailed or messaged them crying at the loss of my samples cos 1. I have more important things to cry over 2. It was a freebie I paid nothing for 3. I lost absolutely nothing and my heart didn't stop beating.

I cannot believe people have come to write bad reviews over their loss of free samples. I understand if you paid for it then they need to be told it's not on but to have the audacity to say "I was not sent my free samples!" like you are entitled to them is appalling

Scam! Beware of this company.

They will take your personal and contact details upon ordering and won’t fulfil your orders.

Big scam company. Basically they took all your information but never delivered goods.Not trustful and unreliable company. What are your management doing if you are facing financial challenges? Avoid this bankruptcy company.

This company posted about getting free samples and then we’re so overwhelmed by the amount of orders for freebies (free product and free postage) that they were unable to go ahead with the orders for samples.

I just wanted to say I actually appreciated the honesty, and feel like they’ve dealt with this very well.

Plus, it’s a freebie so none of the customers lost out on anything. I feel like anyone complaining about not receiving their free sample has issues….. 😊

This company had a very generous offer that new customers who were genuinely interested in their product range could have free samples with free postage. That's a sign of confidence about their products: Once you try, you will come back. Unfortunately this 'offer' was shared on deal-sharing sites and every vulture on there who had no real interest in the products just filled out a form because it was free. Inevitably, this huge flood of orders (many of which were the same people using different emails etc.) overwhelmed the business and became financially unsustainable. The worst part of this fiasco is those 'customers' went on to leave negative reviews because samples didn't arrive on time. We used to be a proud nation of small business owners and it's no wonder the UK is going down the pan when people can behave like such impetuous vultures.

Liars that don’t send free samples out, we now have to pay for samples 😂😂😂 prepare to see 100s of negative reviews whoever owns this company is clueless…

They had an intro
Offer that you could buy some product and only pay postage - then you received a code that you could share with friends ,and for every friend that signed up with them, you would earn £50 of free products. One of my friends signed up and took the offer so I was expecting my £50 free products .. and I was directed to the website to choose the products I wanted. However five weeks later there is no sign of the products and no contact from Deter draft! I cannot help but feel this is all a bit of a con. It's such a shame because the washing liquid was lovely and I would've become a regular customer. No response

I ordered some samples and got an email saying they were dispatched and would be delivered by express delivery by 5th April. It is now the 11th and I am still waiting. Fake scam company

Me and my partner ordered a set of samples as we were very exited to try a new product. We were looking forward to the products but they never arrived. That’s two orders that went missing. Very disappointing.

We bought 3 sachets of this company's dishwasher detergent. We were attracted by the facility to return the sachets for re-use.

After just 3 washes, we have had to stop using the product. Previously clear glasses came out cloudy after just one wash and will now have to be replaced. Many items including knives, forks, plates, crockery came out still partially dirty.

We had absolutely no problem with our previous dishwasher detergent & will now return to using it.

Excellent products, service and delivery, they make it so easy to be more eco! Plus the laundry products smell so amazing. One happy repeat customer doing her bit for the environment!
