Unprofessional

A Dialectica associate contacted me regarding a consultation on a pharmaceutical topic. Although I was initially unsure whether I was a good fit for the project, the Dialectica agent convinced me, stating that their client had seen my profile and was keen to schedule a call with me. However, during the interview, after answering a few initial questions, the client ended the call upon realising that I was not affiliated with the company they had in mind. It appeared that Dialectica had a mix up in communication with their client. I did not receive any payment, not even an apology for my time being wasted.
