Still nothing positive from diechmann re faulty shoes.

Heard from diechmann via email but all it says is that they will pass my complaint to the area manager.
No information how to get a refund. I would have had a replacement but my granddaughter needed shoes for school so I had to buy some elsewhere.
Diechmann not only flouts the consumer act it's is guilty of false advertisements as the flags outside the store say they will replace or refund if you are unhappy with the quality.
Clearly they don't care and the managers are able to be as unpleasant as they choose so diechmann also needs to review its recruitment practice.

Solihull Town Centre Branch.

I purchased a pair of boots to wear when walking the dog and I've had them 3wks. They are now in the bin as they fell apart whilst walking along a woodland path this morning.

Land rover boots, £40.

I can't fault the staff at the store, very helpful, polite and professional.

Bought a pair of school shoes for both…

Bought a pair of school shoes for both my children. My sons fell apart after 4 days of normal wear (doesn't play sport at break etc). We returned them and got a refund. 3 weeks later my daughters fell apart. I can't find the receipt so not much I can do this time. Definitely avoid this shop - and no they weren't their cheap shoes!

I visited the store to buy shoes for…

I visited the store to buy shoes for myself & my wife. The staff didn't even greet us, secondly one of their staff with bleached hair (guess the name was J_ e) kept following us. My wife was trying a pair for herself and I was looking around for myself and the guy came directly to us ignoring all other customers and asked what we wanted (which was odd), when mentioned we are having a look and will give a shout he stood right next to us, looking at us which made us feel so uncomfortable. When he realised we felt bad, he said the spot isn't covered on camera however when there were other customers at the same point, no one kept an eye on them or offered them help. I've worked as a retail manager and I know this is not an acceptable behaviour. Diechmann, if you consider customers are important and believe in doing the right thing for them, then train your employees. I ended up not buying for myself because of the incident. I know you'll may not care for 1 sale but there might be lot of customers feeling the same because of having wrong colleagues like this guy. I'm a loyal customer and usually the service is good but with this experience you have also lost a customer for life.
