After months of eating issues with our Jack, we found Different Dog and I am so glad we did. She absolutely loves it. Comes running when she hears me getting it ready. So much nicer to give than the raw she was having before and a much nicer smell! It literally smells good enough to eat! I heat hers in the microwave for 15 seconds and she devours it.

Finally found the right food for my dog
I tried for ages to find the perfect diet for my dog and believe I’ve now found it ! The relief I have in feeding my dog something that has proper natural ingredients that he enjoys and a good source of nourishment for him is just brilliant. But add on the fact that changing to Different Dog has completely stopped his runny eyes I’m amazed, I still wash his face once a week with a flannel but not for the same amount of time, no more grappling with with the crusty tear stains. Super happy with this brand and his eyes definitely look brighter to me.

Dishonest business
It forces you into a subscription. It fails to cancel when you try to... Food is terrible a mush with some chunks of carrot added.
I selected a very long window until the next delivery, today I see a charge of £50 and 10 packs on the way when I do not have any space in freezer.
Dishonest business. Do not recommend.

I will look into what happened here in detail. I completely agree with you that cancelling a subscription should be clear and straightforward. I would not ever want any of our customers to feel that they had been treated dishonestly. If there are lessons for us to learn here we will make sure we do so.

Wow I now know why its called Different Dog 🐕 Maisy is a different dog since eating this food She has more energy,her fur is so soft and she actually looks forward to her food. Toy Poodle who now loves her food...
I have a young Toy Poodle and was struggling to find food she would eat (she would always start off OK and then stop eating when I tried other types of food). When we tried Different Dog, right from the first bowl Honey loved it! It's now been several weeks and Honey still loves her food. Excellent Experience, Excellent Food, Excellent Care
Working with Different Dog has been an excellent experience. When I first enquired they told me not to order until I had spoken to their resident nutritionist Bianca, she phoned me next day and guided me to what plan to put Charlie on.
The next step was receiving the food, well packaged, very quick, the box is even marked 'must be delivered today' to make sure the courier did not take it back to depot.
The food is excellent, Charlie loves it, he even barks for it when I am dishing it up, something he has never done in his 8 years of life.
I would highly recommend 'Different Dog'.

Found a sharp bone
Tried this food for around 4 months. Initially I was impressed by the variety of proteins, but in reality only a limited selection is actually available to order. Where’s the venison?
When transitioning to the turkey fricassee (very slowly over 2 weeks), my dog developed ongoing digestive issues that lasted about a month. She became extremely gassy (strong, foul-smelling), very gurgly, and was vomiting partially undigested food a couple of times per week. These issues were not present on her previous diet.
The main problem appears to be the high cabbage content (around 14% as stated online). Some of the chunks are very large, tough, and not suitable for small dogs. I now have to manually remove most of the cabbage from every meal, which defeats the purpose of using a ready-made food. She’s not vomiting anymore, but the gas is still there.
More concerning, I found a very sharp cooked bone in one of the meals. This is extremely dangerous and could have caused serious internal injury if missed.
Very disappointing overall, especially as this was my first choice brand. I could have overlooked the price and the cabbage, but the bone really left me scared. I could have given a star, but overall it was okay-sh before the bone incident. Dealing with the
cabbage was time-consuming, but I didn’t want to revert to kibble.

Wonderful company to deal with. The quality of the food is exceptional with no fillers or nasty ingredients. They genuinely care for the wellbeing of your dog. I like the fact the deliveries are so flexible. There is a dietician on hand to help support you in selecting the right food for your dog.

We've been feeding our greyhound Different Dog for a while now, and it’s been an absolute game‑changer. The quality is genuinely incredible — she never goes off it, which is saying something for a dog who can be a little particular.
Deliveries are frequent, reliable, and completely hassle‑free. On one occasion the team even reached out to let me know an order would arrive a day early, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their responsiveness and customer care really stand out.
We’ve found we need to feed slightly more than the suggested amount to keep weight on our greyhound, so it’s worth factoring that into the overall cost — but even with that in mind, the value and quality are excellent.
Honestly, I can’t fault the service or the product. Highly recommended.

My dog loves this food and the customer service is excellent. I have told a number of friends too that have dogs about the food. It is wholesome and easy to store in the freezer. Also good to know that the packaging is recyclable.

We’ve had our rescue street dog for…
We’ve had our rescue street dog for just over a year and for a while we struggled to find a diet that agreed with him while also getting all the good stuff he needed. We were cooking home meals for him, but it was so time consuming. Since starting him on DD (9 months now) everything about him is so healthy - his tummy is so happy, his poos don’t smell and he gets unbelievably excited for every single meal. The delivery is super reliable and it’s so nice to just have it all there ready for him with no last minute super market dashes to stock up. We’re so happy we found this!

Changed from raw to Different Dog for senior Pug
My dogs ate a frozen raw food for 7yrs which really suited them until one of them passed just shy of 14yrs old and my equally ancient pug lost interest in the food so I tried him on a couple of freshly cooked options and Different Dog is the one he is happy on. The recipe choices are fantastic and I think he feels he’s eating human food lol.

A Five-Star Feast for a Grass-Eating Food Critic
Freya, our dog, has become an insufferable food critic. Gone are the days of 'kibble crunching'; she now expects this fresh, human-grade feast served at precisely the right temperature. She licks the bowl clean with the intensity of someone trying to find a hidden treasure at the bottom. It smells so good I’ve considered putting it on a cracker, but my wife said that’s where she draws the line. She did point out, however, that the dog is officially eating a more balanced, varied, high-quality food than we often are. While we’re hovering over leftovers, the dog’s enjoying a 'culinary experience.'
Pros: High quality, smells amazing, dog licks the bowl clean every single time.
Cons: My dog now looks down on my own cooking; I am having an identity crisis on account of being out-eaten by a creature that also eats grass, dropped pizza off the floor, and occasionally poo.
