Great support from this team!

I play in a small, local band in a "small market". I recently engaged Digger's Factory to produce a small run (100 pieces) of the band's vinyl records. The process and the results were fantastic.

I am new to producing vinyl. They didn't mind. They answered all my silly questions with respect and care and gave me the straight forward, clear advice I needed.

They cater to clients with a MUCH bigger fan base than mine. That's fine. They created a custom solution so I could get what I needed on terms that we all agreed would be fine.

And then, they followed through on their promise. At any point I had a question or a concern, their team was super responsive. And by, team I specifically mean Tom Haddad and Titoun Magnet - who were my consistent and personal points of contact for the whole project. That was a huge plus - having two people to contact consistently who had all the knowledge about my project made the whole process so easy and smooth.

Highly recommend.

Incompetent when it comes to stock numbers and in general

So I sent Diggers Factory an email yesterday to ask about an ETA for my West Coast Xmas order, last thing I got from them was an email in early Jan confirming my order would be shipping soon. They responded today (10/02/2025), just to cancel my order and to inform me that the item is out of stock. Needless to say I’m PISSED. Were these guys just going sit on my money unless I emailed them? And what’s with the stock issue, I ordered the records in good time? These are the same people who incorrectly let the Cookin Soul release go live on their website earlier than scheduled (which I gave CS the heads up about) I then waited for actual drop day to place an order, just to be screwed out of my purchase altogether and now don’t have the option of purchasing another variant either. Thanks for the lame and incompetence filled experience!

I have purchased vinyl from diggers…

I have purchased vinyl from diggers many times before with no issues. This last order had a track that was unplayable due to skipping. Customer service was responsive and gave me options on how to resolve the problem. I am happy about the outcome and will continue to purchase vinyl from them. Great company and the pressing always sounds great.

[Update] change subject from " No delivery and really bad communication" into to late delivery and somewhat bumpy communication

Measured against the delivery times of other small online shops, it's pretty awful, but okay, sometimes deliveries just don't work out, which isn't really a problem as long as there's at least some communication. Unfortunately, that's not the case with this record label. Far from proactive communication of the kind: “Hey, sorry, but your delivery is delayed a little...”, you don't even get a reply to a friendly email inquiry. First and last order there, even though I'm interested in some of the vinyl on offer. Too bad, but just creepy.

[Update] To be fair, after many email enquiries about the whereabouts of my order (4-8 days delivery was promised, and after 14 days I had received neither the delivery nor a notification), I was finally told that there were problems with the product and that it might take a little longer. Finally, after 6 weeks, the delivery arrived in perfect condition. The recording is a bit "thinny", but good listenable. So I would like to raise my initial rating from 1 to 4 stars – all's well that ends well.

I received a vinyl record with visible…

I received a vinyl record with visible defects (multiple indentations on one side of the record). The shipping box and the sleeve were in perfect condition, without any damage. This clearly indicates that the record was defective from the factory and passed quality control before being sold.

Customer support offered a ridiculous refund of only 20% of the record’s price.

I do not recommend buying anything from this website.

Vinyl Box subscription

I recently discovered the Vinyl Box subscription, and I couldn't be happier. :) The selection of records is amazing, featuring high-quality pressings and unique titles that you don't find everywhere.

The packaging was very secure, ensuring the vinyl arrived in perfect condition, and the shipping was surprisingly fast!

pre-ordered, perfect service, friendly, Hermes

I pre-ordered and when the release date came they directly sent it via french post to Hermes. As I was flooded with mails though, I didn't realize it's waiting for me already. So it was on the way back when I contacted diggers factory via email. They replied directly, were nice and friendly and sent it again (without asking me to pay again for shipping). It came a day before Christmas as my early Christmas present. I'm super happy with their service and would always pre-order again!

UNPLAYABLE LP'S SOLD HERE

I am a record store owner (in Ohio) and avid record collector. I ordered the LP, Colors of the Mind by the artist SoDown in 2025. I own 2 turntables. A Sansui SR-838 and a Pioneer PL-514. The LP does NOT fit on the spindle of either table!! I mean to tell you that you couldn't use a hammer to make it fit!! The company is not offering a return, refund or credit!!! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! I sent a video of myself trying to put the album on my Pioneer table. They said, "That isn't possible because our vinyls..." And with that word I saw the fork coming and knew I was cooked. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS VINYLS CHILD!!! CAN YOU GET YOUR DADDY ON THE LINE, PLEASE!!! What has this world come to when the people selling the product don't even know what it is or isn't. Thank you for the paperweight!!

QC needs ironing out.

Review update:
Diggers has provided a full refund for the product (item 2) and allowed me to keep the record at no charge. It's hard to fault them for that at this stage.

I've updated my review from 1 star to 4 but not 5 stars, as there are clearly some QC issues that still need ironing out. If the rest of my preorders are hassle-free, I may look to update this review again.

Original review:
This review reflects the experience I had with Diggers on 2 separate occasions. (1) The record labels applied differed in colour from those shown in imagery during preorder stage. Not "a little different" but we're talking red Vs blue. In fact it was a double-LP with a red LP and a blue LP but they clearly made a mistake between printing the labels and applying them to pressings, because the blue label was applied to the red vinyl and vice versa. This may seem like a minor thing, but fundamentally it's a miss-sold product, and ruins the aesthetic of this particular version of the pressing. Other variants were available from other retailers, but I selected the Diggers version for its particular aesthetic. Customer service essentially gave me a "sorry/not-sorry" response.

(2)Fast forward a few months, to a separate order. The record itself is fine, and was received in good time, but I was surprised by how thin the mailer was. Also, the art sleeves are not protected by shrink-wrap or an outer sleeve. This may have led to the issue I had with a damaged art sleeve. After raising a claim and complaint with customer service, I was initially offered a 20% discount for a damaged sleeve which is apparently "in-line with Diggers' corporate policies". Considering the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and considering how much a damaged sleeve impacts the future value of vinyl records, I pushed back and requested an exchange or full refund, with obvious preference for an exchange. I was told there are no copies available in any of the warehouses, and that the "safety stock" used for spares, etc., has been sold out "for weeks", which is incredible concerning, given this was approximately 3 days after it arrived on my doorstep after the release. (This was a pre-order)

As this is not the first issue I have had with DF, I am concerned about continuing to do business with them, and am questioning my remaining preorders.

Customer Service MIA

Really poor customer service. I ordered a vinyl+tshirt bundle. Received the vinyl but no T-shirt, no problem I thought, easy mistake to make. But despite numerous attempts to reach them (email, insta, website) I’ve not had any response back. They clearly don’t value their customers and are sloppy in dispatch. I won’t be returning.
