Some confusion around account creation

They were offering a free copy of Planet Coaster in exchange for creating an account (which required giving a lot of details). I created my account and it wouldn't send me the verification code to my email, and by the time it worked the free game was no longer available. However, they acknowledged the problem and issued more free keys later so all is well.

The only downside is that taxes weren't clear for the paid addons, so the price went up in the final checkout stage when about to pay and I decided not to buy them anymore.

Products can be delivered immediately, and bundled packages offer excellent value for money.

I discovered this game store on GGdeals. Before that, I had absolutely no idea it existed. When I entered the website, I found their game bundles quite appealing, featuring games I hadn't purchased before.

However, I was a little worried because it seemed to be a relatively new store. Then I saw some of the website's description; I'll just list a few:

"We're former Humble Bundlers, self-funded, and only answer to our community, not to profit-driven shareholders.

Our headline collections feature the best games of their kind from the past two or three years that haven't been bundled before.

Donate to unlock bonus content, including exclusive artwork, and know that 100% of extra donations (minus processing fees) go directly to charity."

Wow, their bundles definitely look promising. Although their game keys have time limits, I basically only buy games I don't play and redeem them immediately afterward. The games I never redeem are actually those I already have in my Steam library. For games I already own, I can redeem them for points and use those points to buy another game. I think this is great; it's the only game store among all the bundles I've bought from that solves my core problem.

However, I feel that most games require quite a few points, and to redeem the game I want, I need around 500 points, which might take a long time to accumulate.

But the requirement of having a Steam account and not having PayPal doesn't affect me much. Delivery is instant after purchase. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of bundles they'll release in the future.

I recently purchased the Return of the…

I recently purchased the Return of the Immersive Sim bundle. While linking a Steam account was a minor inconvenience, and I know that some people are unhappy with the 90‑day key expiration, the overall value of the bundle makes it worthwhile imo. If these measures help attract new developers and publishers to participate in bundles, I consider it a fair trade-off. I’m eager to see what their next bundle will bring.
