Trawled through several reviews before ordering two Digital calipers from DML; a Mitutoyo and on the recommendation of DML, I chose their own brand over a Moore and Wright set.

I have used the M & W set previously and its OK. The DML own brand is a couple of quid cheaper and is described in extensive reveiws by DML as being better quality and accuracy than the M & W one.

They arrived today, quickly and as arranged. The own brand one is really poor, it looks like the £5 option from ebay, it's disingenuous to describe it as better than the M & W, they are not comparable.

Asked DML to swap it, they said fine but wanted to charge for both return and forward shipping. Almost the same as a new Caliper.

The DML own brand is not good, covered in grease marks, juddery, plasticky- it obviously provides a higher margin than the M & W set and hence the strong recomendation -do not be misled.

DML Digital Micrometers were extremely helpful with a repair that turned out to be my own fault. Couldn't have given a better customer service.

Very grateful for advice over choice of micrometer and shipping. I wish all businesses were so pleasant and easy to deal with. I highly recommend Digital Micrometers.

FIRST CLASS - Phoned 10:15 hrs Tuesday; clear and helpful advice regarding vernier calibration received. Ordered 10:56 hrs; arrived Wednesday 09:51 hrs. Now my first choice form measuring equipment. (I have NO connection with DML other than as a customer).

Great company, very friendly and helpful, I managed to incorrectly order an item on the website and they immediately refunded the balance and corrected my error nothing appeared to be too much trouble. prompt service and delivery, I would certainly recommend them.
