I bought a movie that was for vudu

I bought a movie that was for vudu, but the code paper instructed me to redeem in Itunes. It didn't work and Digital world said No refund even when I followed instructions to redeem. Digital world noted it was a glitch and not their fault. I reported it to Paypal to get my money back. The worst customer service i've ever rec'd. I boght some instant watch from them a while back and vudu took all the movies out of my vudu. It took nearly 2 months of investigation to get my money back.If I didn't get my money back I would of lost over $ 800.00. That I didn't receive my movie...

Do not trust Digital World HD

When NBC pulled the plug on InstaWatch movies, I lost a good deal of my digital line up. When I reached out to DW HD, their attitude was essentially "Not our problem." Other organizations such as Ultracloud will give you at least a credit so you can purchase another set of movies. It would be one thing if it were $10 - $20 dollars that I was out, but we are talking about $120 worth of movies.

Buyer beware! Don't trust Digital World HD.

I bought movies codes didn't work

I bought movies codes didn't work, I emailed them through there email they sent me and I never received an answer. They basically stole my money and didn't get anything. I am filling a report to better business bureau and contact the FBI for fraud. I hope this works. They basically waited 90 days to help now they can't. Wow just because I waited for them to answer. Beware!!! Do not TRUST!!!!

Wish I'd found these reviews sooner

Wish I'd found these reviews sooner. Made a purchase a couple months ago, added the movies to my library, only to find out from Vudu/Wal-Mart that the codes were illegal and removed from my library as such. I would not trust any codes coming from DigitalWorld HD and certainly will not use their services again nor recommend them others.

BEWARE Digital World HD questionable…

BEWARE Digital World HD questionable business practices.

They have wiped out my purchase history and have given no means to re-acquire. Looks like a tactic to hide evidence. They claim they have only had the business since July 1, 2020 (A reorganization to hide evidence and save blame?). I purchased 2 titles a few months ago and added to my library. Now those titles have been deleted from my library because the vendor of the digital codes does not allow 3rd party re-sellers. The vendor states the codes were sold illegally and that the 3rd parry (Digital World HD) should never have sold the items and should therefor refund the money. Digital World HD refuses to refund the money.

Terrible way to conduct business.

Terrible way to conduct business.
After installing the software I could not activate it because the key code had already been used.

It took three days but I was finally able to get it activated through the alternate method.

I still don't think there is a valid excuse for sending used keys.

If there was a way to rate with 0 Stars I would. Rude and terrible service. There are plenty of other sites to buy from, don't use them!

These guys are very rude, the make use of threats online which by the way anybody can hide behind a CPU without risk of consequence. That is if they think that they are in a very secure space on the internet. I purchased a movie code and when I went to redeem it, I received an error stating that it was incorrect, basically like the code was already used. When I wrote them, that stated that the code was used already, which no kidding, this is why I emailed the support. When I responded in kind, I received threats from the management. Do not use this service or any of it's affiliates under any circumstances or you'll be ripped off like I was.

Digital World HD is the fastest and…

Digital World HD is the fastest and best. I
have never had a problem with them. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was the last movie I purchased from them. Unfortunately I actually haven't had a
chance to watch it yet. I am retired and this is my hobby now. Lol

If you are new to online digital shopping they are the very best and
easiest to deal with, less headaches then some of the other companies,
also for some reason if you're having a problem contact them first they
will help you. Personally I haven't had to.

A word of advice to new people buying movies…Make sure you read their instructions before you click okay, it only takes a minute.

I have purchased 25 or 26 movies from them always very fast and
dependable.

Buyer Beware!!!!

Buyer beware!!! I accidentally bought a code for a movie I already had - asked for a refund and they refused (other vendors we have worked with have happily validated the code is not used and refund). I explained the code is still good, you can look it up. They don't care. Explained how I spent a significant amount of money from them recently (even much more over the past year). They don't care. Really??? You are willing to lose a good customer who has the potential to purchase a significant amount of titles over the upcoming years for $10??? (We have more than 800 titles in our library currently and plans build it out quite a bit more in the near future.) Really, really, bad decisions/policies. It was my mistake for not checking out reviews of them first as if I had I would never have purchased from them based on what I see on this forum. I am just hoping other people see reviews like this first. Thankfully in this day and age it's easy to spread the word to those who want to know.

Outdated website and rude support

Their system is very outdated and it duplicated one of my orders. I contact them about an order because the first time I tried to submit it, it reset back to the first screen like the order didn't go through. They told me they hadn't received an order, so I resubmitted it.

I got charged twice on my credit card, so I contacted customer support. They were aggressive and rude, then threaten to ban me if I made a false claim for the duplication. Needless to say, I won't be on that broken down website again.

Poor performance and service

Company insisted they sent the code, when in absolutely verifiable fact they did not send it to me (though it might have gone to someone else, something they claimed could not have happened, but if not, it was never sent at all). And as other reviewers have noted, the CS personnel come across as very rude. But I did eventually get a working code, so I'm giving them two stars--though I advise against patronizing them, as long as other decent competitors exist.

Extremely rude to customers

Mike Zellini, has the title “Operations Director” is the rudest person I have ever encountered in customer service. The first code they gave me did not work. Which happens. I reached out. They took forever to respond. 5 emails later, they contacted Vudu to verify that the code did NOT in fact work. They did finally give a code that works, but not without demeaning me. His emails were rude and speaking to me like I was a child. Bottom line, stuff happens sometimes. Don’t be rude to those that are giving you money. He claims that they are the only company licensed by SONY to distribute digital copies of movies. I wonder if SONY would be interested in this behavior.
