Quality did not match claims and return process blocked
I recently purchased a pair of winter shoes from DimaQuebec (charged as “Pronova Ecommerce Abu Dhabi AZ” on my credit card). The product was advertised as being of higher-end quality, with a listed price of C$179.90 discounted to C$99.90.
Upon receiving the item, I was disappointed with the quality. Based on my own research, I found what appears to be the same product being sold on Temu for approximately C$30.
According to their return policy, customers may return items within 14 days, but must contact the company to obtain return instructions.
I contacted them on the day of delivery to initiate a return. Instead of providing return instructions, they repeatedly offered partial refunds (25%–35%), which I declined. After several exchanges, they stopped responding entirely.
Because the company controls the return process and did not provide the required return address, I was unable to return the item despite following their stated policy.
I have since filed a dispute with my credit card provider.
Sharing this experience so others are aware and can make informed purchasing decisions. I recommend reviewing the return process carefully before purchasing from this store.
