Great company. They made special arrangements for international shipping for my item and a REAL PERSON actually proactively reached out to me to set it all up. This was the only place online that had these items. Thanks Sue!!

Dinkybox are

Dinkybox are, hands down, the best place to buy speciality art toys from. Instead of dealing with the hassle of buying multiple blind boxes to get that one figure you're after, Dinkybox open them for you & sell the opened figures on their site at fair prices - including the chase figures! I've never been able to get my hands on a chase 'in the wild' but thanks to Dinkybox I was able to get all the Unicornos I've been after, plus Simpsons, Tricky Cats and more!
Their selection is incredible, and their customer service is second to none. A small family-run business, Dinkybox prides themselves on delivering excellent customer service. One time I wanted to order two Simpsons figures, one for myself and one for a friend. Dinkybox regrettably informed me that one of the figures was now out of stock, and asked what I'd like to do. As they were gifts, I cancelled both figures, but they spent the entire work day searching up and down for the missing figure as it was intended as a Christmas gift. This was something I've never experienced before, certainly not by any 'large' companies, and even though I had ordered in the past a few times, this was what made me consistently come back to Dinkybox whenever I wanted to splurge on art toys - they're just the best, and I would recommend them to anybody.

I discovered this store online

I discovered this store online, whilst being very unwell I was doing a lot of web browsing and placed an order for my child but then thought about Easter coming up and decided to order again so all my children would have something to open for Easter instead of chocolate! I recieved one order but not the others and couldn't open up their shipping policy on my mobile so I emailed to asked - I shouldn't have done!!!!!! What followed was one of the most stressful weekends of my life whilst I was in hospital over the weekend I returned to a barage of desperate emails the last of which stated that my parcels were being held and will be cancelled (this was a Sunday) ! For the next day or so I recieved more very stern emails telling me off for all kinds of things and saying that my orders were to remain on hold until I returned form my next operation in hospital - whilst being very unwell I felt hassled and the barage of emails demanding I reply on a weekend felt strangely violating this continued for a day or two more as I tried to ask more questions and rectify the situation but the threats to cancel my order only led me to actually being BANNED from ordering in the future! I could not believe it when I got that email!
I found the whole experience very unpleasant, the tone of the emails was nasty and rude to say the least and my inbox was full of them and to be hassled on a weekend!
Horrible horrible company to deal! It's actually now I found cheaper to buy Tokidoki elsewhere!

Whilst we're sorry that this customer feels that they've been harassed we would like to point out that things seemed a little different from our perspective.

Following the dispatch of the customer's first order we received two further orders late on a Thursday evening which would have been due for dispatch following the weekend (we're afraid that we're not Amazon Prime). On the Saturday we received an email from the customer asking how long delivery would take as they couldn't locate our shipping information on the site. We apologised for this issue and asked if the customer could supply us with the details of what device and browser they were using so we could check the site, as the page seemed to be functioning OK. When we received no reply we checked on the status of the first delivery to find that it had been delivered just prior to her email. Believing that she must have been available to receive the package we mailed again to politely ask that she confirm that she was actually receiving our mails.

Eventually, the customer informed us that she had been in hospital and could we deliver the new order by Thursday that week before she went in hospital again? We replied, explaining that, unfortunately, we have no control over the time it takes the Royal Mail to deliver so we offered to hold the order until she was home again to sign for it. The customer then informed us that there now would be someone there to receive the package but then followed that up moments later with another request that we cancel the orders saying that she would order again the next week. We, duly, cancelled the orders and issued a refund only to be met with another order from the customer a few hours later.

Sadly, we are a tiny company who tries their best to provide excellent customer service (as evidenced by other reviews on this site) but this whole situation was becoming very confusing so we advised the customer that she may be better suited to finding another retailer who could better deal with her requests. There were no 'threats' of any kind and we very much begrudge the insinuation that there was.

We're not quite sure where the 'barrage' of emails came from or the 'telling off' for all kinds of (unspecified) things. We, merely, responded to requests from the customer and tried our best to clarify the situation in an effort to get the items to them the best we could. If the customer feels that the tone was 'off' in any correspondence then we can only apologise. If us simply replying to email questions and asking politely to confirm the receipt of the emails was interpreted as harassment, this was most certainly not our intention. We wish the customer well and are happy to learn that she has discovered an alternative source for her purchases.

Great store and customer service!

I have just discovered this fantatic little store. My children have started to collect tokidoki figures and these guys sell a selection of them. You can buy opened boxes so you know what you are getting or go for the factory sealed surprise boxes (half the fun for my children I think!)
They also offer a discount if you purchase more than 2 of each item.
Fast shipping too and great communication.
Highly recommended, I think Santa will be spending lots of money with dinkybox this year :)

Fantastic

Great little online shop, safe and secure. I ordered a few kidrobot items and they arrived in just a few days. They have a wide selection of figures/collectables, I was able to find items for sale that I wasn't able to find from more major online retailers. Very highly recommended : )

Great little store! :-)

I've bought KidRobot blind box figures from them a couple of times. They are great because they check the contents on some so you know exactly what you're getting :-)
Also great that they're in the UK, usually more expensive from the US (once postage is added), and not all stores check contents for you.
Definitely recommend :-)

Impressed.

This humble shop is a small paradise for hobbyists who collect blind boxed quirky figures/charms/etc. These guys do the opening and identifying for you, so you know what exactly what you're paying for, instead of dishing wads of cash on blind boxes in an vain attempt to finish your collection (not speaking from personal experience -- honest!). If you think that sucks the fun out of collecting, then they do sell unopened boxes to fill the needs of those feeling lucky or want a surprise.

Dinkybox also has a nice collection of Japanese figures (such as pinky street and revoltech), as well as books and manga supplies. They don't quite have the biggest selection around, but it's a nice shop with a reliable service and great prices. I'd say it's worth a browse.

Fantastic!

Although I had never heard of dinkybox before and could not find many reviews for it, I recently purchased some comic supplies from their online store. I am very glad I did! The prices were great, postage was cheap and arrived very fast. They have a great selection and I will definitely be using them again. SERIOUSLY - I cannot recommend them enough, their great customer service makes an easy and pleasant shopping experience. They definitely deserve these five stars.
