After being refused car finance so many times I wasn’t hopeful when applying, Richard was very helpful & explained everything from start to finish, he was very accessible, can’t recommend enough

Allways on the end of the phone if needed. Kept me up to date with my vehicle! Was set for a date he kept his word and had my vehicle sparkling ready to go for me. Very pleasant bloke with good communication. Also a good laugh. Sorted me right out with a car that I needed with a young family up to a superb standard! I will be back!! I will personally say to anyone pick up the phone and ring you won’t be disappointed.

Very helpful in making buying my first car an enjoyable and stress free experience. Car is in great condition and any information I needed to know or questions I had was all explained then and there.

Richard was so helpful and polite. He helped me sort the app out before coming to the dealership. Talked me through everything step by step. And on the day did amazing job to get me on the road quick. I was really impressed with how organised Richard was and had everything ready for me when I turned up. I’m writing this in the hope it saves at least one person from going through what we did.

This company targets vulnerable people who are desperate for a car. Their cars are overpriced, often with high mileage for the age,
and seem to be sourced from auctions. But because they offer finance to a variety of people, many people overlook the red flags.

We spoke to a guy called Mark, who never mentioned the £99 admin fee or just how deeply scratched the car actually was. He described it as "usual wear and tear" that was a massive understatement.

We travelled 1.5 hours to view the car. When we arrived, the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming, and Mark was apparently "with another client." While waiting, we overheard another major customer complaint being handled, which should have been a warning sign. Along with the receptionist handling loads of calls with complaints and issues.

A colleague named Richard showed us the car. The rear panel above the wheel arch was popped out, and he just hit it back into place and said it was normal. The car also had clear damage down the side, again brushed off as minor.

We noticed the MOT had passed with no advisories, yet we were told there was a sensor issue and they were "waiting on a part" when we called to ask if the car was ready. When questioned this when we arrived, we were told they had a "deal" with the garage across the road to pass MOTs and finish the work after. Extremely concerning!!

Despite all this, we (stupidly) went ahead, paid the admin fee and deposit, changed the insurance, tax, and car ownership of our current car, and left in the new car. Five minutes down the road, the reverse gear started grinding and jumping... even someone at the petrol station said it sounded like a gearbox issue.

We went back immediately. Richard first insisted the gear was fine, but eventually admitted the gearbox joint had dried out and needed fixing. We were left waiting for over three hours, being told “10 more minutes” over and over. No real updates, just lies.

Eventually, we gave up, cancelled the finance, and took our original car back. Richard disappeared and left us to deal with someone else ... no apology, no accountability.

We’re now out of pocket for fuel, admin fees, insurance changes, and lost a whole day. I missed work and was late taking important medication. But I will sleep well tonight knowing I didn't come home with a potential dangerous over priced pile of tin!

This was a stressful, dishonest, and exhausting experience.
Please, avoid this company at all costs.

This was by far the best service I’ve ever received when buying a new car or van. Richard was fantastic he spent so much time getting everything in place for me and was always available. Even after I had left he has been in-touch and made sure I was happy. I couldn’t ask for anymore from him

Hiya from the first call to the last call I carnt fault this company,I have always been knocked back for a car but Richard went all out to get me one and I didnt belive it had happened till I was there picking car and signing form would defo recommend direct car credit thank u again xxx

All was good but car didn’t get cleaned very well, was told was waiting on parcel shelf and would be ready when the car was ready and still not received it even though it had taken about 2 weeks to get the car ready, service was good from Kym, had the car since Friday 5th September and first went to test drive on the 4th september and I have just received a speeding ticket from the 3rd of September which I am not happy about and had to put in direct car credit details hoping this gets sorted, as a company you shouldn’t be speeding in cars and should be driving on dealer plates not the own cars plates to avoid this issue

First time using this company, so easy to work with, helped in anyway they could always on hand to answer any questions or send pictures, car got delivered on the day I wanted,

Came in to just look around, it was my second time getting a car from them, Richard was unbelievably helpful with getting my previous car sorted and finding me my perfect car! Nothing was too much! Will definitely return!

This is the second time using Richard at Direct. Because of his understanding, knowledge and excellent customer service. Within a few phone calls again I got the car I have always wanted without any stress and cliche sales pitches. He really does listen and gets the best for his customers. Worst car company ive ever been with. Sold me a car with a headgasket on the way out and then trys to phob me off saying theres nothing wrong with it. Then finally they get the work done which took nearly 4weeks i get my car back bearing in mind ive had to drive 1hr 30mins to collect the car, i get it back in a horrible state. All the front inner wheel arch is haning off and caught the wheel which has ripped a chunk of plastic out of my front bumper. Wouldn't by a push bike of these cowboys
